RonJon 2010-2011 catalog cover poll, please vote!
So it's mid 2010 and it's time for a new RJ catalog with all the new products from the past year like the Harrow, Rev, Vega and TL grille.
I made two covers but I wanted to get some third eye feedback from the forum members. I'm leaning toward the full car version, but I kinda like the vague shot of the wheel. Please vote and lmk what you guys think!
Thanks to Pete Cheslock for the quick and awesome shot of his car, un-edited with the exception of the license plate and also to Jeffrey liu for the shot of the wheel colose up.

i cant make a decision based on appearance, but more so on the business aspect of your company.
what % of revenue is from wheels?
what % from body kits?
do you plan an expanding your business on body kits?
where do you project your sales for body kits?
im presuming body kits are not that profitable at low volume sales, and it is a merely to gain an image to enthusiasts such as us. if that's the case, then stick to marketing yourself on these forums for bodykits, and devote the print ads to wheels only.
IMO, if youre going to pay for the exposure in print ads/catalogs, you would be much better off positioning yourself as a high volume, well established wheel maker than an entrepreneurial acura/honda bodykit maker. i could guarantee youll get more calls/emails coming in with an ad that shows a quality rim, rather than a rendering of some NSX concept. go with Version A

thanks guys, and good catch, Ima edit that EZ pass out, lol.
As far as prefernce, its real simple... The design that makes people want to pick up the catalog is the one I woudl use. You would be surprised how many people kept looking and asked about the cover with the NSX concept on front, then thumbed through the book right in front oif me. So its all about creating interest with a single image on the cover.

Ron...Congrats on the B cover. You actually made the 4G TL look good from the front 3/4 view.
Now is there anything you can do for the side and rear?
Vote B from a business perspective. It follows your past catalogs.

B - But of course I'm biased.
The car is already dropped on H&R - the only option we have so far for the 4G. The drop on the rear wheels is perfect for me (and Boston roads), but the front I wish was about .5 or .25 inch lower to match with the rears.
Here is the thread with the rest of the photos from the shoot.

The other thing I have against B is if for some reason (not sure what that reason would be) there is someone that hates the look of the TL....then you may turn them off to what the rest of the catalog may hold. And I heard that there may be a few people out there that didn't like the look of the TL.

although if this catalog is being sent out to previous customers and/or being displayed in the shop - then i guess its really more of your own preference. shouldnt make a big difference...print ads - different story. save A for the print ad.

The 4G TL is too ugly to put on the cover.

Like that!

and a different theme than your other covers.
