Safety Car
For now plans are:
That's about it for now
- Maybe some cool OEM take offs from something else...oddly, the pattern is 5x120 with 14x1.5 thread pitch...like the Yukon and Caddy
- Already bought and installed some 25MM rear spacers...made it have a pretty decent stance already
- Amber LED DRL
- All weather mats, all 3 rows and trunk tray, OEM
- Ordered new window rubber to replace the old cracked ones
- OEM roof rack and cross bars
- HID for fogs
- Replaced Gas Cap and missing transmission lock release cover
That's about it for now

Sometimes it feels like I take a nap and J has swapped like a 1/3 of the fleet.

Never has a minivan thread generated so much activity on Day 1.

Welcome to minivan life. Nothing beats minivans for practicality haha
You should have gone with the Sienna but Odyssey isn't a bad choice

some J to play with, you say?
Oddly enough, she doesn't like the Sienna and I'm partial to Honda...
it's funny Jin, but I ALMOST contacted you about your A4 Avant for sell before buying the Volvo but I figured logistically it would suck to
get across the country.
Yeah, Minivans are the truth...I fucking love the versatility and no lie...almost every day when she loads up the kids for school or the neighborhood kids etc...she texts me thanking me again telling me she can't believe she has such a nice van.
even the dog gets a ride
and Zoe...which is hilarious cause she's like "oh daddy...the black honda odyssey...the tv is so fantastic"
I mean, this is from a 3 year old.

People talk shit about vans. I did, then I bought one and I'm like I should have bought one instead of the Exploder. If you have more than 1 kid it's perfect.
*walking to the car, open the sliders kids jump in and buckle up even before you get to the car.
The sliding seats in mine is a huge plus too.

The only negatives to this one are that the previous owner must have parked it on the surface of the sun because I can tell the clear has taken a beating. I plan to have the headlights recleared and maybe do a little custom grill paint work to make it stand out. Should look cool as fuck.
The other thing is that in 2012 they still used a key...which I don't mind but it didn't dawn on me at the time that chicks like to not take a key out of their purse. Oh well...the 2013 Elite we were looking at wasn't the right color and had about 50K more miles which J wasn't comfortable with.
Flippy, you already know, man...Van life is the shit with all them kids. Even putting Z in...the door opening is like standing in a garage door that's open...no leaning over and hitting your head or hers on the way in. It's awesome.

My wifes biggest grip about the Exploder was the doors, especially when ass hats parked too close. Plus the Ford was higher, so she would have to jump in and climb over to buckle my at the time 2 year old up. I'd buy a van again and again.

Yeah, I regret not getting a minivan earlier when my first son was born. The practicality is just insane. Nothing comes close to it in terms of that aspect.
Glad your gf and kids love it!

My wife fully understands the utility of a Minivan/wagon, but would rather walk than own either.

I actually have 2 Flex in my driveway right now.
In-laws are in town & they bought one after using ours when we were out of town once.
