Brian says he's NEVER seen such bad rock chips...worst OEM paint ever on a car that can go that fast!

oh whale. It'll be fixed now...
inquired on getting the chrome painted to match while it's off car, but Acura wants my car gone because they are behind.
Might keep asking...

really.. because I cleaned up the dirty slut last week..
I had rock dings that notched the platic, but didn't damage the paint.
paint is actually pretty good..

Here's the one I like.. D3 makes a kit but it's 400 I think.. bleh.
Thinking of doing something custom.

Maybe with switchbacks.. I saw someone wire it that way so when he hit the hazards the LEDs flashed orange.

Some how we have to figure out a method to get rockstar143 to dip, ever so slightly (weaponX TB), into those recently acquired real property capital gains and get back to modifying. That is, of course, when the healings done.

I really like these but wish there was a way to do something custom and put the lights on the other side of the opening so they lined up with the bar on the headlight so it kind of looked like the current gen caddis.

I can now confirm for you for sure that the curt 11013 DOES fit on the wagon.
Install wasn't hard...took an hour and a half because I took my time and wasn't clear on some of the instructions.

I did have to muscle the shit out of the exhaust to get access to dremel the outer rail opening to fit the hardware through...and to get the hitch receiver in there.
Eureka, and it looks clean!

jacked that bitch up

there she is

here's how you thread the fish wire contraption onto the bolts...they include 2 knowing you might mess one up

don't have a pivoting torque wrench but I'm confident I got more than the required 70 ft/lb on the bolts

Also, make note...I have corsa touring mufflers...OEM exhaust mufflers might be bigger

Now you can pull a little trailer full of garbage to the dump. At 130 mph.

And get there with nothing left in the trailer. No need to pay to dump anymore. Success.jpg

Awesome. Looks good. Wonder if I could fit that with my exhaust. The more utility we can get out of this wagon the cooler it makes it to me.

It would be cool to do that. I want to see if I can get a lightweight scooter mount and take a honda ruckus on the back to ride around at car shows. Going to the hardware store to with a small trailer and bringing home a trailer full of mulch with a vwagon would be awesome too.

good shit, Z.

JT...just FYI but with rear camber at -2.6...I've noticed now increase in bottoming out or rubbing...sits perfectly and front and rear camber are near each other which was important to me.
