Th wheel color looks really good but think it will look even better with everything blacked out for a mean look. After all the Vagon is a mean car isn't it?

It's so mean, it can handle a little chrome here and there.
Honestly Jason, after being all blacked out on the TL, I really lost the desire for the look of no contrast. It annoyed me that it always just looked like a big black mass rolling down the street from a distance.
I like that the chrome outlines some things.

I could never decide on the IS-F. I had one side blacked out and the other side chrome.

I kind of like the wheel color.. It's funny because even though I don't think I would powder my wheels that color, I do like the way it looks.. If that makes sense..

I know you hate taking pictures LOL ...but when you get chance take a pic of the V in sun so we can see the color better...

Those wheels make me want to put 20's on my V..

The "V" as in the whole car?
Closing on house got moved down, not sure if I'll be tinkering or shooting the cars anytime too soon.

Stopped by Cadillac yesterday and got the TPMS reset...took like 2 minutes with the special wand that makes the horn beep and recognize each corner.
tipped the guy $20 and called it a day.

Maybe you could invite him out for a drink next time as a thank you.

See if he'll push in your stool at the bar?

That is what I have been using and been doing them every 10k.

Once I get the car back I think I am going to switch over to Redline oil though.

What's the benefit of switching to Redline besides the higher price tag?

It seems highly regarded on V forum for guys pushing higher boost and thus more heat like I will be running now.

I am returning the single quart...
realized I had already bought the other $25 5 quart 5w30 which had 4 quarts in it.
Also, managed to curb one of my wheels today...only like 15" of the lip did I fuck up. No biggy.

Shiiiiiiiet.. How the hell did you manage that?!

also, redline oil is a group V oil is it not? If I'm correct, it's loaded with PAOs and helps a bit with heat dissipation.

I I could be getting my terminology completely wrong, but I remember reading a bunch about the group V oils, as that's what Nissan recommends for the Z

I backed into a spot with curb on right, pulled up tight to it...
when I left I was afraid a car was coming down the aisle and I cut too early.

Bonus for the "jack up the back end and let it idle in gear while sanding the lip" DIY method.

Well, it's not horribly damaged in that it didn't get a ton of ridges, but the color is gone.
I'm gonna ask my buddy if he can mix touch up for it.

Hmm... And by "WOTM", I meant Wheels Of The Month (for after they have a polished lip). But now that I think about it, maybe it should be Wide Open Throttle Machining (for when you have Z hold the go pedal down while you apply sandpaper).
