Really? No one is going to point out the Coldplay concert thing?

Really?

An Audi and a Coldplay concert?

C'mon. I am ashamed of all of you and you all should be ashamed of you too.

well, I've seen them and thought they put on a great show.
I got a TON of shit from my buddy for not going with him to GNR and going to this instead.
But hey, lil' J hasn't seen Coldplay before and loves them. Should be cool.

not so far. Staying dry and the most difficult part is entertaining a cooped up 4 year old.

Been out driving around and scoping out the area. You're doing okay, right?

Thanks for the offer, greatly appreciated.. If my schedule allows me to I may take you up on the offer.. The "drive by cable" analogy is good to know because like most of us, I can't stand the DBW..

You're probably right, I highly doubt I'll regret it..

With this TB...it's just a very flat and linear connection from pedal to accelerating. Take Andrew up on trying it...it's such an easy install. Idle relearn...try it...if you're not convinced. You're wrong.
Now I see what you're saying, that linear feeling would be awesome..

If I see an LS3/7 tb for $100, I might get it... might.
Thanks for the feedback guys, so I guess an LS7 vs. ported LSA is the way to go??

Like J said I think the electronics part of the LS7 TB compared to the LSA TB is where you see most of the difference. Don't get me wrong I think the porting definitely plays a part in it as well so if I am going to do it I would do a ported LS7 if you can find a deal and knock both out at once but I do believe the biggest benefit is from the way the LS7 TB interperets the input it receives from the pedal.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but even an LS7 ported wouldn't require a tune?

Thanks again for all the info...

Correct with just a LS7 TB and even with an intake you wouldn't need a tune. Could a tuner dial it in and maybe grab you a tiny bit more response out of it, very possible. Definitely not needed though. Many people run them without a tune including J no issue.

Coldplay was okay...hot af, humid, raining, acoustics in the newly revamped hard rock stadium left a lot to be desired. But overall, we had a good time, at least I was with my doll face.
Luckily, she didn't love it either so we won't be doing that again any time soon.

About the TB...it got little J approved...she was like, I'll count...I hit 60 mph and she was like, wow babe...that was 3 seconds. I was like, maybe more, sweetheart...NOOOOO YOU HEARD ME COUNT! So scientifically proven, with the new TB I have a zero to 60 of 3 seconds now.
She did say she could tell the difference in how it took off with a little jolt of the pedal.

Something else I'll tell you guys...and I'll get flamed for it. I felt like no matter how "little" I pushed the gas pedal for the entire tank, the gas needle always moved so much. I swear I saw a slow down in that, maybe it's the way I'm not pressing it as hard to get going now. We shall see but if I start getting over 200 miles to a tank.

She cleans up so well!

Ported has very little if anything to do with throttle response, especially low.
The porting has to match the manifold and the flow increase is usually only observed during WOT.
