rockstar143's 2013 CTS-V SUV Wagon Thread - GM Owner & Cut Springs
#4081
I know the feeling on the car payment issue. After the trans went on my last car, getting back into a car I couldn't pay cash for wasn't bad at first but now I just want it paid off. Let alone student loans... I will never see my bank account rise for the next 3-5 years.

I'm with you...
honestly, I've strongly considered a MDX, 08 to 11...something like that...and sell wagon and take the equity and some cash and have no note.
Plus, it seats 7 and gets decent mileage.
I'm serious about that...I kinda just have a different perspective and my financial monthly expenditures vs single income are not making me that happy.
Or loose both cars and buy an Audi S4 outright...but I think I'd regret the maintenance on that.
Just thinking out loud...dumbrockstarring, if you will.

It's easy to fix
Don't embed the short link.. or use the Azine picture link so it saves locally.
See:
Also, if you're going to use photofucket
Use the Azine embed link so it hosts locally
That way you won't have to pay $400 / yr to 3rd party host
I'd stop using photobucket.. they're pretty much jumping the shark.

Thanks boys...yeah, got lucky, they were that color when I bought them, JRF.
Maj, no sir, the paint was too far gone...I tried and it just made it come off the edge of the container, but didn't change the consistency.
He put more reducer in this batch and I'm keeping it in the fridge for longevity. Only sucky thing is that it's runny as hell, but I just applied more coats which ended up looking more even.
Still need to touch up a little more but overall, you can't really see the damage now.

Thanks Adam!
By playing with the camber on the rear cradles, I gained some moar lows that matched the front having the 5" cut off the spring.
Sitting perfectly now!
Dude, I'm DYING for some rolling shots!

lmao...Chip stumbled on this and sent it to me...
lots of shit talking ensued about me being a hipster, or ghetto...or pricepoint on the V is too low now...or needing a truck...or being cool AF. I think the latter is probably the most appropriate.

haha. You're just a cool AF ghetto hipster who got the V for super cheap.
It's a wagon, that's what they're good for....and the plus side with this one is a supercharged V8. Sounds terrible

Not to sound cliché; however, covetous haters are going to hate. Don't look back!

If anything, I see it being done right .. you know - considering you have racks for everything and all.
Love it.
