dude bro...
I had the life.
And I knew it...a lot of guys are like never knew I had it good.
I had it good.
I drove to Ohio to pick up a new car and drive it home.
With a 3 month old at home...
ON VALENTINE WEEKEND.

I had it good bro...

anyway...
about that zero turn...
I wish this vid was the one with Z on my chest...
wonder if B still has it.

I would want some turbo action too...something tunable. Which kinda leads me back to the Golf...but again, if you go German, why not go Porsche>
German + Turbo + Power = S65 AMG

I get where you are coming from J. The german car thing is on my eventual list of cars I would like to experience in life. Just don't know when. I think you should just wait a little while.

funny i was having somewhat of a similar convo with Mrs. K this weekend when we were in the Vagon... we saw an R8 pass us:

Mrs K: would that (R8) be something you would want in the garage one day...
Me: (bawlk) are you kidding me, i'm too scared of a maintenance bill for it...
Mrs. K: ok let's say we put that aside and we can afford the maintenance, would you want it???
Me: Hmm, can i have another car instead???
Mrs K: What would you want instead of that?!?! It's a pretty car...
Me: I want a prancing horse instead...
Mrs K: I agree that is a prettier car, you should get one... let's revisit after the renovations are done...
Me:

i think i just got approved for a new toy...

i'm fine with that... we would get a convert... the only thing that would be in my price range would either be a 348/355/360... my personal preference would be 355 spider with the F1 trans...

drop the top on a nice day, put it in drive and just cruise... and she can drive it too when we go on road trips... i daily the MR2 now and i'm starting to get pissed in traffic having to clutch

The maintance cost on anything before the 360 in the F car lineup sadly to me makes them almost non starters. Having to drop the engine on the 348 and the 355 to pretty much do anything really racks up the costs. A Porsche GT3 would be cheaper at that point within the first 3 years of ownership.

My neighbor has a 348 Spider & 355 Spider in his garage (MT in the 348, F1 trans in the 355).
Have never got around to asking about the maintenance on them. Still working on getting a ride (and drive ) in one of them before we move.

Only if they made an ATS-V hatch or wagon. Wagon is just too useful to give up.

We can dream that one day Cadillac will make a second coming of the Vagon.
