^ I know my F150 uses something like a last xx miles average to estimate the DTE. Never really try to run mine under 1/4 tank or so, just out of habit.

CTS-V doesn't do that.. because you could go 20 miles on the last gallon.. or you can go 2.. 
It gives you an approximate range the last few gallons..
then it just tells you you're low on fuel and do you want the navi to show you close gas stations.
I almost ran out of gas last week with the kiddos. Was lalalalalalalala... oh shit. I was driving her pretty hard before picking kids up.
I was like.. I'm 10 miles from gas station.. Ummm... Nahhh... stop being a pussy, it's fine (turn off A/C, drive like an old man)..

I've been considering my next move/project...
I don't think I'd go American again...
the power is amazing, but I can't deny that the steering and inputs feel very big and vague in comparison to what we're used to.
Thinking RS4...manual...
not necessarily to replace the V...maybe the S.
What a dream it would be to have a fun 6MT I can take Z in so I'm not limited to what day I have her to drive it.
I don't think I'd go American again...
