Meh, not horrible. You don't go outside when it's that cold but anything above zero windchill isn't bad at all. The benefit is that we don't have very many people here that don't actually want to be here so the people are very nice and the area is extremely clean.
That's cute.

We have seasons in FL too...
hot and hotter, and sometimes during the year my balls almost don't stick to my leg.
Took it easy(ier) on my wagon this tank of gas just to see how good she could be as a commuter...240 miles to this tank...14.6mpg.
Not fuckin bad for Floridathanol fuel! If you extrapolate a hybrid car's output to be comparable to the 6.2L SC, the Wagon is basically an electric car!

Pffft...I have ONE season. Winter.
Puts hair on my chest and legs. Cuz, well, we don't get very hairy.

LMAO, i wouldn't even need a jacket or pants.
so here's why we don't let our gf take our car
"oh but I didn't do that, babe"...
no problem...made a washer/bracket to hold up the damaged area...and some grey plastidip...funny but the pieces that I changed from last year were fading so it actually made the whole front look much nicer.

Yes, you could slip and break something walking to your car. Your car could also not start. It's all about taking chances and living life on the edge. And also being prepared for such things.
Bingo.
Find me a job in the RTP area and I'll move. I bet the taxes are lower too.

This is one I'd been sitting on for a while...knowing that doing it right would take some time and diligence and then purposely sanding off a perfectly good factory finish which was counter intuitive...
that said, I'm glad I did. It's a throwback homage to the black TL when I had the calipers this color. Love that it keeps in theme with the red/orange/yellow of the plate and tails and the amber of the headlights...same color palette at least.
The silver always seemed drab to me for such a good looking set of brakes. I mean, yes, classy...but when yellow and red were options from factory I figured a little classy pop wouldn't hurt too badly. Happy with the results.

Thanks Sam,
If you decide to, I'll give you some pointers to make it easier.
All in, I was about 5 hours...that included brake cleaning the pads/shims/pins and greasing everything to put it back together.
Fun fact, in the V...if you do pads...and compress pistons...idle vacuum isn't enough to push all the pistons back out...you need to rev a bit...
found that out the hard way, pumped a bunch of times and put the car in reverse on our sloped driveway...rolled back and couldn't stop...
managed to avoid the truck parked in guest parking and threw the car in park to try and stop...nope...hopped the sidewalk backward...luckily
no damage. Just scared a neighbor out walking I miss a regular manual e-brake
Keep that in mind, Maj...

I can barely keep it from creeping from startup in reverse.
Anyways.. If I'm doing the brakes, I'm facing forward so I can at least choose my destiny.
