Hmmmm...
I'm going to see if there's a way to put something metal behind...because there's ONE bolt up top that holds down the rain channel rubber...if I can affix something under there, hidden...you should be able to press down and tighten that bolt to apply enough pressure.
Otherwise, looking like window-weld will work...if you remove the light and apply it to the top 8" of the tail and tape or strap down while it cures...might be it.
Driver's side tai light on Wagon pulls away from body, catches on EVERYTHING. - Page 3

the gist of that thread is that window weld will work...because of the bond AND malleability of it.
everyone tried epoxy etc...
I'll give that a whirl but I'll probably apply it UNDER the light from it OFF the car. It's not that hard to get off and ensure it doesn't show.

What does the light look like before/after where the tab breaks off? Do you have a picture?

well drove in a storm in traffic yesterday...managed to avoid 2 people throwing themselves at me because they didn't anticipate stopping short in the wet...
did it while on a phone call sipping a coffee.
in my 600hp station wagon.

Chatted it up with my Pops yesterday evening...
gonna pay down the Vagon. It's a collector thing that I still get a big grin driving, even if the mileage isn't the best, I have other cars to help with that and to keep me entertained.
Also, Saturday, get here already!

Get that thing on the car already. Even if little J is driving it doesn't she bring it home at night? It is the thing you have been waiting for forever.
On a side note. Glad you decided to keep the wagon. It really will be a collectors item.

Were you able to get the TB installed yesterday? If so how's the car feel now?

Hey Jason,
I did. Took me about 20 minutes between install and going to the computer to look up the relearn procedure.
My impression is it definitely makes the car feel "lighter" on it's feet...there's some mental thing with having a soggy pedal you feel like you have to press hard to get moving.
Also, I realize now there's a lot more control with this one. Like, throttle control...there's low, mid, high throttle...before it felt like it was laggy slow or balls to the wall eat shit fast.
So, that said, I am happy with the purchase. It's not night and day, but definitely makes the car more of a pleasure to drive around town.
If you're like Majofo and have the gas pedal pinned all the time anyway you probably won't notice a difference.
