I had mine updated approx 1-1/2 yrs ago and the Junk K Band Filter made a big difference, I mean I still get some false alerts but it is so much better.. I also picked up the V1 Connection which allows me to view the V1 on my phone via the app. I find this very useful because based on the parameters that are set you can tell pretty quick if it's a real threat or a false warning..
It is definitely a nice feature.

you don't need to go all the way to the fuse box... just tap the mirror power for both the radar and the dashcam... why would you need to go all the way to the fuse box for the dash cam? if you think a radar and dashcam is too much load on the mirror circuit, then just tap the back of the radio for a switch 12v...
I am also hoping the mirror plug will supply enough power so I can get a splitter to power both the radar and my V1Conneciton for bluetooth.

If you buy a new one now I believe they are the same thing but if you were to buy an old used throttle body you may have gotten one with a silver instead of brass. I thought there was something about the electronics that was a little different as well in the older ones. Again just what I had read on the forums and maybe I had misread or misunderstood it. There may be nothing different than the plate color. I do know for sure the newer versions have the brass plate.

He finally uncovered the wagon from all the dust and boxes piled on it. Poor things was being so mistreated. Glad it finally was driven.
I agree you can't sell it J. That throttle body arrive yet? Anxiously waiting to hear what you think of the difference.

emissions inspection every 2 yrs... it takes 15 mins... plug in the OBD2 port to see any codes... they nixed the safety inspection years ago... honestly i'd prefer if they reversed it around... these cars can roll in there with brakes down to the limit, bald tires and a cracked windshield or broken taillights and pass for the road as long as there are no codes... makes no sense... but i shouldn't complain, they are free...

If you want to do an type of exhaust mods, good luck. Have to do major research what you can and can't have.
When I had my 03 TL-S, I had headers and intake. Headers had a carb number, intake did not. They made me call AEM to get the carb number. Smog ranges from 48+cert fee (8.25), if you fail smog, you have to pay another fee to get it re smogged. Then they have visual as well. Then any type of motor swaps. Screw it, it's not even worth it. Friend had to jump through hoops for his H22 swap.

Same here, was actually just stopped last week for no plate. Had my pea shooter in the door compartment. Cop was cool, pulled it and looked at it. Ran me through the system and came back and jokingly asking me to step out of the vehicle cuz I had 18 warrants for my arrest. Ended up giving me a 10 day fix-it ticket for failing to provide proof of insurance. He said he wouldn't want to drill holes in the bumper if it were his car either... Said I should look into a bracket.

Small update from me.. I passed over 100k on the V a few weeks ago. I've owned her for about 3 years now and I'm still on the OG tires.
Those F1s have a lot of life in them. I drive the shit out of the V and have put a lot of miles on them. I'm seriously impressed.

I know right.. those fucking DWs have been sitting in my stash house for a while now.
Technically.. every day I drive the V.. I should go to jail.

Swapped out the tail light on the Vagon with the broken upper tab.
Oh wait, no...swapped out and BROKE the tab on the used one I bought. Fuck me. Gdammit...
And cut my finger...
ended up putting my original light back in...I need to come up with a way to run a wire or something that I drill into the back of the light to pull it down tight up top. SOMETHING. or glue or something. It's cray how badly designed it is.
Can't win em all, I guess.

Hmmmm...
I'm going to see if there's a way to put something metal behind...because there's ONE bolt up top that holds down the rain channel rubber...if I can affix something under there, hidden...you should be able to press down and tighten that bolt to apply enough pressure.
Otherwise, looking like window-weld will work...if you remove the light and apply it to the top 8" of the tail and tape or strap down while it cures...might be it.
Driver's side tai light on Wagon pulls away from body, catches on EVERYTHING. - Page 3
