I just want to point out what a trip it is to read that quote by J in your sig and then to realize that he now drives an automatic.

J, never sell your S2K. You've got the best of both worlds now.

Well, that's J for you.

He'll talk about something like it's gospel, saying he'll never do it, blah blah blah, but you know deep down inside that the second he has an opportunity, he'll jump on it like a fat kid in a candy store.

"I'll never sell my black TL. There's no point"

"I'll never buy a TL-S. There's no point"

"I'll drive this TL-S forever. I love everything about it. Get something else? There's no point"

"I don't want or need a car payment. There's no point"

"I'll never drive an automatic. There's no point"

LIES!!!!!!! LIES!!!!!!!!!!!!

I swear I feel like cutting them just to piss on you guys.
David and Adam...
notice how my last thread was "J is a hypocrite".
That's also why I always tell people not to make absolutely statements.
I also still feel like a manual is a real driver's car...but at this stage in my life, I'm okay with having a car that's a little less "connected" for doing the day to day tasks.
Plus, helps that it's not boring to drive at all.

I disagree. You need a manual V8 in your life and we all know it. As your best Mustang friend, I'm willing to take the hit and take the V off your hands and give you an unmolested, mint condition, 100% "STOCK" 5.0.

I know, I know.. I'm crazy. But that's just how much I love you bro.

Unfortunately I have no idea as it came on the car. I have tried to research it but from what I have read there is no actual marking on the mufflers to let you know.

Well, calling a guy a hypocrite after admitting that he's one just makes you an asshole.
Jason, all good, man...from what I've gathered, people are shocked at how quiet BOTH of them are inside the car.
Gonna start pulling out all the insulation in the car!

^ I've heard Jason's in person... sound sick. Not sure if it's the Touring or Sport, but it's perfect. Keeps it quiet for cruising but when you stomp on it... you know it's there...

I remember my buddy had put some skinny welds on his fox body...we went to South Beach to cruise and going over the bridge he had to slam on the brakes and bam...slid into a Range Rover. Exchanged info...drove straight home and put his ROH's back on.

A Vagon is a pretty decent vehicle but you can't rock crawl in it, Sam!

Down the road I would like to get to 700 hp but that will be a few years out. After handling and a louder exhaust note.

lol, you can't rock crawl in a KL Cherokee either but here we are. I don't like rock crawling, I just enjoy trails that get me somewhere to see something.

I just want a fun car that I can comfortably drive around all the time.

I wish I had the option to go uncut at this point in my life...but that decision was made in Switzerland ~1979.
