Thanks Tyler! I think I'll be in heaven. My main previous experiences have been with Kenwood, because once I was wired up, they had the same wiring harnesses so even when they burned out, I'd replace with the same. I always loved my friends' pioneers so I figured I'd give it a shot.
Lucky for me, found out a wiring guru that makes things that are S2000 specific and he makes a harness that incorporates all the functionality of the OEM dash buttons and then by holding one and pressing another has even MORE functionality. Listening to regular FM radio wasn't cutting it for me given the amount of time I spend in the car now.
You can even wire to your speed sensor wire to have the radio default to certain volumes depending on speed and whether top up or down. Pretty cool stuff. I'll probably not hook that up though, I hate auto volume adjust.

That head unit looks like a good choice.

I hate auto volume too, so much that I keep turn it off in MDX Now kiss
I hate auto lights as well, lowers the dash brightness but keeps the nav bright in tunnels and etc... hate it
MDX is like that... UA7 is like that too I guess
It's feels like girlfriend changing the settings
Anyways we hate everything that's Auto
I don't know about stereos but it looks sexy, buy it
How about that dash one? Meh, it's too early, wait for summer hehe

Whats up with RDX owners?

These pics?
Yea, they're pretty suite.
I'm not sure, man...we should get another one going soon though. Your paint dry yet?
Spent a solid 9 hours on the car this weekend. Removed rusty rotors, wire brushed, sanded and painted with high temp caliper paint. Also waxed the rims, and cleaned up the brake pads and re-lubed everything. This car was originally from up North so the rotor screws were rusty. I managed to to remove the rear ones pretty easily, but the fronts were gone...had to drill them out and retap...then put anti seize and new screws. Good as new!

Thanks man, yeah, honestly, that and the clear sidemarkers are 2 purchases I regret absolutely zero. Actually...the front strut "X" bar either...that really tightened up the firmness of the front end over uneven pavement.

I thought I was the only one who could tighten up your front end...

Hope you are having fun with the S2000. My 05 S2000 was recently totaled by an idiot running a red light and t-boning me. Loved every second of my three year run with that car. Doing routine maintenance on the car was a pleasure...so easy to work on.
Holler if you have any questions regarding ownership. Also make sure to register on S2ki.com if you have no already. Great group of people over there.
I went on a 2400 mile road trip with it back in October from Dallas to Phoenix, up to Flagstaff and back. Brought a GoPro and documented the trip. So freaking glad I did that because I had no idea the car would be gone three months later.

Meko, yes sir...and I also opted to refinish the OEM rotors/calipers on the S because they are not warped and perform well. So there...also, BOTH cars have the exact same shift knob...after the monster knobs, voodoo knob and a variety of oem knobs, I always end up back at the tall mishimoto weighted one and love it. It's heavy feeling, and has the leverage for a confident shift every time.
Mr Barbarian, THANKS and I'm truly sorry for your loss, man. I'm glad you're okay...silver lining is you can now go find and 06+ so you can get the easier/cheaper tune on it! I am on s2ki as well as s2000.com but s2 is far superior as far as support, I agree. Cool dudes over there and I think I may have even stumbled on your thread because that trip sounds very familiar. Thanks for the offer for information, I may end up taking you up on that.
Washed her last night, headlight and tail uv protection added and tail pipes re polished.
Supposed to get cooler tonight, wanted to drive it today..open garage and bam, it's pouring. Oh well...took the TL as it was dirty and tbh, I prefer FWD when it's raining hard.

Thank, Yum...your 2 cents are always welcome. Even if you wanna and requote them.
PS...although I'd originally thought not to, I'm heavily considering getting the clear diffusers for the front to remove the amber. Hmmm...goes well with the clear CR side markers I have.
