Thank you Steven!
Well, I got my Collinite 845 and decided to seal up the S2000 pretty well. She's got swirls and some scratches (presumably from the car cover over the years?) but after my experience with the TL, I'm not willing to thin the clear to correct at all. Especially given that the scratches aren't visible unless you're literally looking at the sun's reflection directly in the paint...and who does that?
Anyway...gave her a Palmolive wash (didn't have Dawn) to strip off old stuff, then clayed the whole car. Then gave the whole car a nice coating of Collinite, including the door jambs and trunk surround. Got inspired and decided to finally wax the Konigs while I was at it...also added the chemical guys trim stuff to the tires and the visible parts of the wheel well. Incredible how much better that makes the car look...like new.
Got a part on the way for the S2000...I had much debate on whether or not to spend more money on her, but it's looking like I'll be riding her and the TL out for the long haul for now. So I might as well make her exactly what I love.

you left out recovering from knee surgery...
haha...I'm a busy body, man...part of my mental stability stems from needing to feel like I make good use of my time and being productive. When I sit on the couch all day I feel like a turd an all I can think of is all the stuff I could have knocked out and crossed off my planner that I didn't. Yes, I keep a planner.
I actually almost have the smaller toolbox buttoned up too that I've been working on. I'll probably post that update in my home thread later.
Thanks Jeff...and yes sir, Steven! Same spot I shot the TL not too long ago...great backdrop for the cars.

Hey, thanks a lot Adam. Look at you being nice to me and my little girly slow car! Damn...it was the German car making you a d bag!
I'm very glad you're happy, man...saw a yellow ST lowered on black wheels the other day, what a gorgeous car.

Exhaust...but the one I originally wanted...decided to cough up the money for it and lucky I did...manufacturer is in England and only has 5 units left with no plans to make more.
I wish, brother...but right now...SC isn't in the cards. More power would be great, but I am not willing to go through the growing pains (down time and money) on it like I've watched my close buddy Chip do. Maybe one day, but for now...

I did like it, but if we're being honest...it was super loud and drone'd on the highway a bit...wife wouldn't even ride with me. That said, the Invidia was substantially cheaper and I would have gone that route...then add to that the fitment issues with it and having to work to get the tips even and it was enough to keep me from going that route again.

What made you choose this exhaust?
It's been proven it's not much different than any other 70mm exhaust? Are you planning on S/C?its overkill to do that unless you plan to...Plus the price tag for a 1500 exhaust where you get the same performance as another like a Berk. I also heard that making the s2000 exhaust from them was limited because they couldn't get the demand here in the states ?
I just saw a video that shows it has quite a bit of drone when it claims on 91db.

1. Looks like a very BEEFY oem
2. Sound...I'll take a little drone if it will stop the high pitch tone of the exhaust when driving around town in the low RPM range.
3. I cheaped out last time and wasn't totally satisfied. I love the Greddy SE, but it was 100 more and much more readily available.
They stopped production because of the lack of demand here, but honestly, if you research the exhaust, you'll see why. 2 threads on S2KI with nothing but a couple of pictures...4 videos on youtube (and the ones I heard where you can actually hear the the tone, it sounds much deeper than even the Greddy).
I don't kid myself...whether I make 3 or 4 hp more, I don't care...weight savings is cool but for me, I do exhaust for looks and sound. If it doesn't sound good, I'll sell it. It wasn't $1500 btw.
I plan to make videos and take plenty of pictures to help out with the sale of those last 5. I took a chance but I don't think there's enough evidence to judge it in either a positive or negative light, yet.
I was torn, and had buyer's remorse because I do love the UK modded exhaust, but there's a certain pitch/tone that I think I had to convince myself I was happy with...I do cringe a little at a certain rpm when just driving around town. In the end, I CAN be happy with it if it doesn't work out with the Milltek but curiosity got the best of me.

Awesome, Adam...They emailed me back from the people handling their direct orders and they only have 5 left, with no plans on making more without any US demand. I plan to change all that with at least a good thread with pictures/weight/videos of sound.
Milltek exhaust Steven.
Yumry... and (after a minute or two of hugging)

well...although the UK modded AP2 exhaust sounded great, my curiosity got the best of me.
Results?
Deeeeepppp...rivals the depth of the V6 TL exhaust down low...up high, no rasp...and on the highway, zero drone. Can you say, perfect exhaust?!?!?
Only 5 left for purchase...PM me and I'll point you in the right direction if you want to purchase one. I love it...I really do...and I'm glad I did, it was not easy to get a hold of.

Chip (the Machine) pointed me at this exhaust originally...as soon as I saw it, I knew it's the one I wanted since it looked like a super OEM exhaust (much like what I have with my custom RV6 TD on the TL).
Love love love it.
Love love love it.

Oh, it's Miltek.
Yeah they do. That's what I was going to get until Morgan swerved me to Nameless.
Good brand.
