Just as long as you have participating dealer nearby.

Agreed. I'm not sure why, but there are significantly less rattles in my R then my GTI, and things just feel better put together. The paint though...there's some areas on the bumpers that the robots missed.

There are a few in my area but my understanding was that it's just a participating dealer/shop to do the install, not necessarily do the service.

So either a Golf R, used Touareg, or an Audi. I think the rest of them for the US market are either made in Alabama or Mexico.

Also, I've worked with the French Swiss and they are not where it's at lol.

Still going strong with my daily...
had a misfire caused by a shitty champion plug...
look up that plug online and the 2 reviews state that they had misfires immediately when they
used that plug. The only other plug that comes up for the 2.0 drive-e is this relatively obscure
double iridium that is either not in stock or had to buy in bulk from rockauto.

Other than that...fuckin rockin...smooth 8 speed...great gas...rare enough to see a v60, let alone
one slightly modified.

Thank you, boys...
saw a photo op on the way to work that morning and decided to pull over.
I spent about 4 hours cleaning up and sealing the paint this weekend. Easily the cleanest
car I've owned, interior and exterior wise. Also reminded me that if you don't have time
to clean a car safely and properly...don't do it. Over time I had gotten back into some bad
habits that proved to be swirl city.

SHO, ho

My Volvo I was looking for tuning options and I'm still looking for a downpipe (might have to go custom) for the 2.0t drive-e there's not much support.
It does have a factory polestar tune on it that has it right around 300 ft/lb IIRC

Here it is...before is left with tune is rightT5 Drive-E AutomaticFWD2015240 hp / 258 lb/ft240 hp / 295 lb/ftB4204T114031459463

Did you take those with your mobile phone? They are begging for an edit to get those final tweaks...

Also, for as much as you shoot with your phone, you should look into the Moment lenses for your phone. I've heard nothing but good things.

That's something I wondered about was the Polestar tune. The newest S60 really looks sweet, but Volvo doesn't say much in the description of the tune other than it being $1200. Hell, I can get a lot of hookers and blow for that and I know what I'm getting. Didn't realize that you'll get 45 ft/lbs of torque. Something to look into.

Thanks boys...
yeah, lowered on H&R Sport springs with some 12/20 spacers all around.
Yeah, the polestar tune is decent...I didn't even know it about the car when I bought it. It had the polestar badge and a buddy of
mine that works for a Volvo dealership told me what that meant. During the test drive I did think that when the turbo spooled it
giddyup'd pretty darn well and I guess finding that out made sense.

I was talking to a company that does tunes and they were interested in fuckin with mine but they aren't local.
I really even just think putting in a race pipe over the catalytic would wake this baby up. It's the 2.0 drive-e but
really it's the wave of the future for Volvo. Almost all their cars are going to be 2.0 variations...the faster ones come
with a turbo and supercharger...or turbo and electric. The way of the future, I reckon.

The superturbolectric Vulvas are sweet. Four hundred horsepower, four hundred seventy something torques. The XC90 highbred is sweet and usually have some real good discounts on the higher models. If I needed an SUV, that would probably be it. The new S60 R-Design T8 e-AWD Plug In Hybrid is the sedan I'd go with though. Issa fast car. But I wish the wagons were available as a hybrid.

I like to know that there's a little bit of Costco in my pants at all times.
If I'm being honest with myself @Midnight Mystery , I was the one that got fired up when I saw it...the rims, the brown leather, the gas mileage. I was like, YES, this will be perfect for "YOU"...the intention was that it would be hers but when she decided she needed another van I was fine with taking over and making it my own.

Nive that’s the same tactic I took with my wife’s RAV4. I even threw out the “but what if someone is messing with you and the kids and you need to make a fast getaway” scenario. It totally worked. Really I just liked the idea of a fast little cuv for myself.

Well it backfired cause I had to sell off the Caddy to pay for it and the Van so the joke's on me
Not a bad tradeoff though...cool looking wagons...went from 12mpg to 35mpg. Both are rare. Just nobody
cares when the Volvo pulls up. I went to Thanksgiving in the Volvo and my cousin was like, dude you put
Volvo wheels on the Cadillac? I was like, take a closer look...it's not the Cadillac.

I took the same tactic as well. "Yes honey, it's an economy hatchback that gets good* fuel economy and is practical**, I'm not seeing why you'd be opposed to that?"

*When compared to a Yukon, Suburban, etc.
**Compared to other performance cars.

Surprisingly few V60s on the market. Within 200 miles of Houston, only a handful that aren't base/basic models. Still a few new-old-stock 2017s even.

and pretty much NONE of them have that silver sport trim around the bottom and rear of the car...and almost none have those 19" wheels...nor the polestar tune...
and apparently black ember on beechwood is very rare too. Who knew!?

Correction...
I sold the Caddy for family duties
and technically I sold it for enough to pay for the Volvo for me and a fully loaded ELITE 2012 Ody for her!

ZERO RAGRETS! Enjoyed that thing for 2 years, did a bunch of burnouts and got brodowned a bunch and sold it for a profit
with less than what I consider clean paint.
I may revisit the caddy in a 6mt down the line...
I still think I need to get the S4 with a 6MT out of my system though.
