I swear that's a euphemism for something, but I'm not sure what.

Also, did you modify a Tampon Bay sports ball license plate?

I thought so. You seemed sad when the cancelled the First Aid plate, but good to see that you've still got options.

I was super sad!
I accidentally had ended up with 143AD originally, right...so wow...143 like forum name...ALL DAY like beeper codes...
then bam, had to change it...then bam, they cancelled it.

I was happy with the Endless Summer but now every fucking gentrified hippie hipster has that shit...

with how we ended up buying and selling the cars...Caddy endless ended up on the Van...and I got stuck with the horrid "trees are cool" from J's old van...
so this made sense to try something new. I'm super happy with it.

I doctored up the Endless summer to rep camping instead of surfing and J is happy as hell with that...

Will you get your peepee slapped for changing the plate? Cops are pretty anal about anything foreign appearing on a plate here.

naw...
I doubt it...
and if they really pressed the issue I could peel any of it off quickly and redo it later.

Kayak and 2 bikes on the V...
Never 3 kayaks.

Shit, we can't do anything to our license plate. We have to roll with 2 one in the rear one on the front or we get in trouble.

Hence why I still haven't taken the temp reg out the ody window. running with a dealer plate on the rear nothing on the front.

You guys get a crazy amount of time to register though, no?
Plus, your black Cali plate is sexy all by itself without modification.

Floriderp has like 398 different plate designs to choose from, so cops probably don't know what the plate is supposed to look like.

Like if you move here from a different state? You only get 20 days.

Or when you buy a new car?

Yes, our legacy plates are amazing!

I've heard (not sure how true this is) that you need to apply for plates immediately, but the CA DMV takes their sweet time in getting you your plates, which is why there are a bunch of new cars driving around without them.

Although, they have been getting better. When we bought the explorer I had the plates in a week or 2. My dealer sent them to me, but everything with them was electronic, the papers, the DMV process. the Accord it took about a month the Ody took 3 weeks. Honda is still in the stone age so that's probably why it took so long.

It's floriduh...

When they got the shit that they have to deal with, a modified plate is the least of their worries.

Also.. I can't tell you how many times I've thought about how good a Cali legacy plate will look against a Rio S2000

Would've posted a couple pics if I did, dude.

Still no. It's being held up out east in Halifax until Audi Canada decides the A5/S5 model is ready for sale for 2019 year. They are being idiots about it TBH and the latest word is that hopefully sometime in December the car will arrive at the stealership.

That is about $12K more than what I paid for the S5. And I don't have 12,000 reasons to like the Volvo more TBH...but, the real factor was reading up on the maintenance record of the Swedish folks and how they are dead last. Given that I keep my cars for 7-10 years, I would like to not be paying out of my @$$ regularly to fix it.
