cu2wagon 05-13-2019 10:28 AM

And another lifelong bromance started?

rockstar143 05-13-2019 10:30 AM

Fuck you, bro.
You're an asshole.
but yes. :tomato:

Couple from Pensacola flew into FLL on Saturday...it was for the girlfriend :co:
She loved it, went to bank and deposited check/cash and hitched a ride home
with my Mother after taking her out to lunch. Worked out perfectly.

rockstar143 05-13-2019 10:40 AM

Final shot of it...

CCColtsicehockey 05-13-2019 12:10 PM

Good stuff. Congrats on another car chapter closed. Time to add another to the fleet

CTS-V Wagon

rockstar143 05-13-2019 01:14 PM

LOL...
my next acquisition was purchased before I sold this one. :rockstar:
and seriously, this is the first car in a while that I want to drive every single day.

BreezyTL 05-13-2019 01:23 PM

Said J, never... :soldinaweek:

rockstar143 05-13-2019 06:57 PM

naw...haven't said that shit in a while.
I'm itching to drive this nimble rocket.

Midnight Mystery 05-13-2019 07:11 PM

:rip: Volvo. 7 months 28 days...

rockstar143 05-13-2019 09:52 PM

It was the perfect commuter car
and for the better half, it was the perfect car.
But there was something missing, for me.

Midnight Mystery 05-13-2019 10:36 PM

I totally get it... Looking for my "perfect" car too! :)

rockstar143 05-13-2019 10:51 PM

The concept of perfection is a fleeting emotion...
I don't know, the S4 has some balls when I get on it and is totally docile when I'm not.
Terrible gas mileage is like 17 an good has been 29. So, slower than the V but applies the power
more efficiently while being an arguably more luxurious feel with better amenities...and then gets
the gas mileage I was after when it was in Jekyll and Hyde mode, which was the main thing I was
after.

Midnight Mystery 05-13-2019 11:15 PM

Weird spacing there, bud...

Well... The S4 is about as close to perfect as you can get *reasonably*! The enjoyment is what matters...

BTW, to me, the perfect is is tge car I love enough I care not to replace it and keep it 5-10 years without a second though...

rockstar143 05-14-2019 06:05 AM

When I got the Cadillac I for some reason knew it wouldn't be forever.
When I got the Volvo I immediately knew it would be for a short while.
A3 didn't really matter, so little money went into that.
Yukon, same.

How long have you had the Yukon now? I don't imagine it going anywhere soon...

What's up with the Odyssey?

rockstar143 05-15-2019 11:35 AM

Hmmm...
I want to say April of 2018...so a bit over a year now.
I don't have a ton of money tied up in that and it's a living room on wheels
with 4WD so I'm not heavily motivated to move it.

Ody stays...that's Momma's ride...:toocool:
