is the right headlight always brighter than the left on luxury cars?

my friend noticed this when we was driving in front of me and when we got to the restaurant he said that my right headlight was brighter than the left. he said the same thing to my other friend who was driving a lexus is250 who was also following. we got out of our cars and both noticed it.

the driver side head light is suppose to aim a bit lower so you dont blind on-coming traffic. they're both as bright though.

shouldnt be just for luxury cars, maybe any car that comes with stock HID.

Passenger side light leaks a little light up to illuminate street signs as well.
