Any idea around how much it costs?? I googled it but didn't find anything much helpfull and I only found one shop that is like 40+ miles from here. I have a set of S2000 front wheels, 1 rim is bent (very hard to balance) and I am currently not it position to buy another set of wheels. possible?? If yes then How much?? And is it worth??

Any SF bay area people know any wheel/tire shop?

Bent wheels are repairable. If the shop that does it is good, you'll have no problem. Each shop charges different, but I'd say that with bend repair only, it should cost you < $100. If the shop has to paint/powdercoat it, than no more than $150 at the most.

Sorry, I don't know any shops in the bay.

I had a local guy repair one of mine for $35. He is an old time welder and did a pretty good job, but the wheel looks like crap. Heating the rim up to fix the bend cause some of the finish to come off. I probably should have spent the extra $$$ and had a professional shop do it. They quoted me $150 to make it look brand new

it should cost you around $150 for a good shop to straighten the wheel and refinish any paint on the front it make it look new... if the bend is bad, when they straighten it, the wheel can crack and that is where they would have to also weld it closed...

can't you just find a new wheel? it may cost you 200-300 but maybe you can recycle your old one for scrap metal and recoup some of your cost?

Just had mine done with Wheels America. They have several locations and if you are lucky enough to have one close by to you, then you can drop the wheel off in the afternoon and pick it up the next morning. Cost was about $150 and my shit is perfect.

I've used Wheels America as well. They did a near perfect job. The front face and lip looked perfect. There was some paint streaks on the back, but you would never see them with the wheel on.

Overall I thought it was well worth it.

Here is the San Francisco location.
