Well, I had an 02 TL-S back in the day and was able to add a $15-$20 adjustable shock sensor to the stock alarm. Not sure if you can do that on the 3G TL, but you may want to look into that.

Also, a new alarm will be cheaper then a lawsuit from a perp... or worse, a service tech or detail guy (etc) who accidentially slices his arm open working on your car.

back in the early 90's I knew a guy who would buy a box of straight edge blades every 2 weeks from my barber just for this reason. He would line the hood and trunk of his car(living in NYC) He said the worst part is cleaning up the blood off his car in the morning, but the cheapest security other than sleeping in the car lmao. IMO just put theft coverage and rest easier(keep recipts for all goods you might want to recover)

Didn't Ford sell off a huge percentage of their stake in Mazda a few years back? When they were saving cash. I think they only have about 10% now.

I thought they sold volvo and range rover and kept most of mazda. You could be right though.
