At one point, they were one of the worst, if not THE worst.

they really do look nice inside and out but knowing many people with them and hearing one horror story after another, not to mention i dont remember the last time they were ever better than last place on JD Power ratings, i wouldn't spend the money. <<especially since their price tags are so far up there.

There were some nice leases for the LR3 the past month at least here in south Florida. $399/month x 24 months with around 2 grand due at inceptions if I am not mistaken.

My bro leased an 06 V8 SE recently for $500/month even with like $2k out of pocket for 30 months.

A week later realized that he overpaid by $70/month....but didn't care.

The dealer he got it from had over 100 2006s in stock.

Could be, but Infiniti does tend run aggressive programs on their cars.

Lexus can't touch Infiniti deals most of the time.

In all honesty, I believe Consumer Reports ranks Land Rover dead last in reliability or very near the bottom.

Well.... I test drove the Range Rovers... HSE and the LR3... they ride nice but I've hear stories of how bad they are. I took your words and decided not to get a Rover.

Instead I got this for her.........

By no means I want her to be a soccer mom........... and I was heading toward SUV since most girls want SUVs...
I was at the Honda store checking out the Pilot when I saw a CLK430 verty and I said "hey, that's not too bad." So I head over to the Benz dealership and they had a 500 verty there in white...... I like white so I went with it.

It was, I had my buddy drive it home pretending it was his car.... we were outside talking when she came home last night.
Her first words were "Hey Jason, that your new ride? That's very nice! What happened to your Supra? I thought you were a sports car kind of guy!?"

Jason: "I am... don't shoot the messenger...."

me: "you like this car?"

her: "yeaah, it's really nice. I love the matching interior/exterior. My car is too hot in the summer, I wish it wasn't black" meaning her "G35coupe with black on black

me: "well.... err happy tuesday."

long story short, she was surprised and before long she said... ''this doesn't mean you can get your corvette yet........."

I love my low-maintenance wife. If I did that the first thing she would have thought was the car was for me.

a co-worker of mine has a red defender like that... i have seen him waiting for his wife to pick him up on a couple occasions because the truck ends up having some problem... they are tough as nails off road, but they are expensive to maintain from what i can tell... He even mentioned having to drop some serious dough when he first got it...

Don't get me wrong, the wifey is low maintenance... just I am tired of her driving the crappy G35 coupe her dad bought her back in 2002... the thing has been in 4 car accidents and all from her dad or being hit while parked..... before that she had a shitty civic....

I just thought it's time to get her something real nice... why not do it when you feel it in your heart?

Being married is all about compromises, give and get.....
giving her a nice car allow myself to get something NICE :borat voice: down the road.... I mean really niiiiiiiiiaaace

My friend has the 2006 LR3 and works at a Land Rover dealership, he says they are always being brought back because they have tons of electrical and suspension problems. The interior is beautiful they are nice cars but for the price you are paying for them you would want something that’s going to give you the least headache in the long run.

So much for the CLK500... She's had the car for less than a month and now it's gone. Coming out of NJTP toll booth she was struck by a minivan at 40mph. The entire right rear is crushed and luckily she's ok. This happened last sunday night so they car will be totalled. Now back to getting her another car.............

WOW, very sorry to hear about the accident. Hope everything with the insurance company works out well.

If you want to get her an SUV again, why not take a look at the Audi Q7's? They're beautiful! Keep us posted!
