Question for my fellow bike riders

First of all, I am asking this question in this forum because motorcycle forums are pretty dead, and rightfully so. Everyone is out riding.

Anyway, I just replaced my stock (rear) blinkers with some LED type blinkers. Looks great (about 15 LEDs in a football shape) and bright as hell (for all the cagers). The question is: Is there anything I can do about my blinkers blinking twice as fast?

I was thinking I needed a resistor, or is that normal when you change from a bulb to LEDs?

BTW, I have an '01 CBR F4i.

Alrighty then.

1. It is normal when switching from bulbs to LEDs.
2. Need to install a resistor pack
3. Doesn't hurt the lights any (but a little annoying).

The blinking rate does not automatically change when you replace bulbs. Normally it's controlled by some circuity that doesn't care what's connected to the blinkers.
