Question about Audi 1.8T...
My friend just got a 2000 Audi 1.8t 5-speed and is looking to mod it a little bit. He's only going to get the stage 1 chip (for now) to keep it reliable. What are some other bolt-on mods for this car and what kind of power can you get from this engine without boosting the shit out of it?
Also, what are some good sites for it?

those sites are very good, also audizine.com
a cat back exhaust will help free up some top end power. Intakes don't do much more than make a cool sound on the 1.8T. Especially on the Audi where the air box is right next to the hot turbo. If he does go with an intake, I'd suggest one with a quiclity heat shield. Short shifters are a good mod for the sloppy OEM one. I would also reccomend a boost gauge.
