Dude, sorry to see all that damn snow. I'm sending some 60 degree weather your way next week from Kansas City.

He's flying in from Saint Paul, MN to pick up the car and drive it back (around 1000mi). Not sure if he is a member, but he recently sold his automatic TLS in order to find a 6MT. He must have found it on the forum because I haven't advertised the car anywhere else. I'm not sure if he is a member yet, but his previous TL was modded so he must at least be a lurker!
Definitely will do

Hey everyone,
Not the happiest update, but the sale went through yesterday afternoon.
The buyer arrived with a friend and loved the car. We drove around town for a bit, gave her a wash, and finished up the paperwork before he left with her. I believe I let it go for a really fair price for both me and the buyer. He ended up taking the car pretty much as it as, with all the aftermarket mods, blood, sweet, and tears I put in it.
I'm pretty upset about letting go of the car, but I'm ready to start a new chapter. I may be moving to Houston, so that was part of the reason for the sale. I really don't know what's next, but I do know that I will eventually be ready for some newer technology in whatever car I get. I'm not in any rush for now since I have some clunkers laying around to drive.
The car is on its way back to Minnesota, I believe about 1100 miles. I have no reason to believe it wouldn't make it, and the buyer left in good spirits. I'll update when it reaches home with new pics if he sends me some.
Here are the last couple pics I snapped.
Famous key hand off...

Thanks everyone!
I'm super excited about this latest purchase. But I'll give a little backstory.
So I was planning on moving to Houston early this year, which was partially why I had listed my last NBP TL for sale. I really didn't expect for it to sell but as you guys can see above, I found a buyer who really wanted it at a price I felt was more than fair for both of us, so I let it go with plans of relocating, because of course who couldn't use some extra cash when moving across the country. Well, plans changed, I decided to stay where I am instead of moving. I've always kept a close eye on craigslist, looked at a couple cars for fun, but really wasn't serious. I've been enjoying driving my little Corolla around, getting great gas mileage and not giving a single shit about the car
I was checking out an automatic KBP here in the BM that wasn't too far from me. After speaking with the seller, we couldn't come to an agreement so I decided to browse craigslist a bit harder to see what exactly is out there. As fate would have it, I happened to be checking a VERY inactive region on craigslist when I came across the beauty you guys see in the photo above.
Saturday I headed out to West Virginia, about 3 hours away. Went through some awesome mountain roads, up and down some hills, and eventually to the side of a mountain where the Unicorn resided. The owner was an older retired gentleman who bought the car outright as a CPO with 55k miles on it and mostly used it for getting around when he didn't feel like driving his truck. It was well maintained, albeit a little rough around the edges.
When I saw it, I had to have it. I gave myself a number in my head and told myself that if I could get it anywhere under that, I would take it. After some talking, a spirited test drive, and some negotiation, I got the car for the Max price I set for myself, and left a happy camper!
So many comments, to reply to, thank you everyone!
Hopefully not anytime soon, why you wanna buy it?

I just love it, I still have to pinch myself and she's not even done yet. But when I see that blue in different lighting...it's absolutely stunning. Both my in laws, whom have never commented on my old car...were both like WOW, it's GORGEOUS.
Me, Shotta, you...MORE MORE MORE!

I know!! Its been sitting all weekend. I'm placing orders for parts today, all maintenance first though! Just ordered timing belt and water pump kit, will probably have that done this weekend and while I'm at it replace the motor mounts as well. I've had the rear one sitting brand new in the box from 2 TL's ago so I'll swap them all out as well. Probably a couple more little things like that before I start any mods. Gotta get my hands on the aspec kit though before its all gone (sides already are).
Honestly it hasn't really hit me yet. I bought it, drove it home, and it still doesn't feel mine yet...Maybe after some wrenching
