Putting the Zoom Zoom back in Mazda
So has anyone heard that Mazda has updated the Mazda 6 for 2018? The most recent generation of the Mazda 6 had always been toted by critics as a great drivers car with the biggest issue being its 184hp drivetrain.
For 2018 they're dropping the 2.5L turbo from the Mazda CX-9 into the 6, thats a bump to 250hp and 310lb/tq. I'm very interested to see what kind of times that car will put down. Unfortunately you can't get the manual transmission, only a 6spd auto and no AWD option either.
Cant wait to see a 2018 Accord sport comparison.

That's a huge upgrade in power! I appreciate Mazda for focusing on driving, but there sub-200 HP numbers always had me confused. I mean I get it in the Miata because it is so light...

I'm hoping for a new MazdaSpeed6 with a slick 6-Speed manual.
