Has anyone been to this track, or heard about it?

Is it any good? I'm thinking about attending an HPDE there and I just wanted to know if it's a good track or not.

I've run on this track many times. The facility was at its best in the 60's and went down hill for years. Lately in the last few years they have started to put money back into the track. It is a very interesting 2.3 mile road course. The drag strip forms a 1/4 mile plus front straight. The back section has nice elevation changes and tighter turns. There is virtually no run off anywhere. If you go off track you are in hard packed dirt and weeds. Search the web for "PMI Pueblo" and you should find the web site that has a track map. One of the best parts of the track, is call the manager and you can arrange a track day anytime there isn't an organized event running. I've only ran motorcycles there, but am itching to try the TSX this summer...

damn, I didn't know about that track. i could dig pitching in for a day and just fucking around on it.
