11 months in the making

11 months ago, I bought the POS on the left. 400 hours of work later...

Still have decals and clean-ups before I really call it done... and even then it's only 'done' enough to start entering local car shows.
A lot more fettling before it's SEMA-worthy, but I'm gonna start trying to get my foot in the door!

Very impressive work. Those wheels look great on it for daily driving it but I think for SEMA your going to need something with a much more aggressive fitment on it.

if you're good at marketing, SEMA would be no problem...
one of the youtube guys went to SEMA without any car to show...only the "promise" of a cool project car to come... that's a master at marketing.

I think dude showed up with like 4 wheels and called it good. it was enough to get people to either invest or whatever.
it's one of the very popular youtube dudes. I forgot who. like Rob Dahm or something

Codename Cinderella

Took her to the neighboring company's super large parking lot for a few quick photos...

If you're asking, why Cinderella? Besides being under the influence of a 5 year old daughter, I've always liked the idea of princesses being a little edgier/sexier than traditionally portrayed.
So this is her pumpkin carriage with a modern day twist.

My secret weapon for wrapping:

I'm probably gonna keep the interior fairly simple, but clean it up especially at the rear where it was cut off.
Though I know someone at work who used to do car and aircraft interiors, might go to him for some advice.
Would love to at least have leather seats so I don't get zapped every time I exit the car...

Thought about this thread Friday, saw a Scion XB that someone made into a little pickup. Looked well done at highway speeds.

Just put a grounding strip, hanging from the underside of the car, down to the ground. No more zaps!

Toyota makes that in a mini pick up version. Not to jack the thread, but they do.

Showtime

Picked this up at the inaugural Royal Fitment show in Hayward, CA this past Sunday... small friendly show, and I learned quite a bit. Have a much clearer idea of what else needs to be done for future shows!

I saw that yesterday and thought of this car...

And then this evening, I find out that OP has been cheating on Azine with that whore Jalopnik!

Thought I'd post some of the latest pics here...

Late night dessert in downtown San Mateo, realized this might make a nice shot when I walked back to the car:

Memorial day BBQ setup duty

BBS Evo X MR rims, transplanted back from my UA7. Was afraid they would poke too much but I think they ended up being just right!
Ironically they ride better than the Type-S waffles with 215/45 Kumho Ecstas.

Not that my butt is that well calibrated, but it still feels stiff enough... my DC2 subjectively felt worse rigidity-wise.

Man so much innuendo.
