That looks amazing. Not going to lie, I've been trolling fbook for a Cayenne because of you lol.

Curious how the Cayenne would handle DD duty, but I'd hate having to park it outside every day.

A few quick browses, and it's a bit surprising how 'cheap' Cayennes are.
2012 Cayenne S with 60k on it $25k
Some older 1Gs under $10k

Surprisingly, at least on paper, the Cayenne S gets better MPGs than the GX
P-car maintenance probably going to negate that difference.

It's German. It'll go down the road just fine. Parts at FCP aren't more than other brands and have lifetime warranty.
Don't believe the hype on all models.

I guess being 'older' it's less anti-DIY
I'm sure next week I'll want a Smart Fortwo, then a Corvette, & a Hummer.

Meh, like J said, parts aren’t terrible but yes, I feel you need to DIY or find a great Indy.

FWIW it took 12 hours to swap the harmonic balancer on the "simple" and cheap GM product.

😂 not a fan of bars. Box came with an open bag of hardware so the fairing is missing a few screws but they’re on the way.

Do a super low profile light bar or a few light pods up there for the look. Might be able to embed them into the faring for a super low profile look. Let me know if I can help with 3D printing a mount for you...after I move because my printer is packed up right now lol. Also get some KC Daylighters for the front grille.

I'm tired of the vehicle owner thinking that they have an opinion on the vision for the build of the people.

You should drop the Yukon on bags and put spinners on it.

Meant to comment sooner in your thread - man, this thing looks FANTASTIC.

Color, wheel setup, and rack isn't overdone but could be functional later.

Depends on what car of mine sells first but, I can't help myself but look at Cayennes . Such much vehicle for the money.

Still waiting on my new seat skins but decided the sagging headliner was really bothering me so I caved and ordered new alcantara. Since I need to pull the headliner, I can’t help but feel I want to be a bit trashy and go star headliner 😂

In the mean time, I hated the old nasty key so I purchased a new one for $5 and swapped the guts. Thought I could swap the emblem but ended up spending almost $20 on it

Ended up getting the headliner out, not too bad but did break a few clips.

Little scraping of the foam, followed by a light sanding.

The sun visor area dropped really low and right in the center, the console rose up pretty high, which made the front extremely difficult. I used steam, which helped but it’s not perfect. Most of the wrinkles are hidden behind the dark windshield ‘dots’ in the middle and looks so much better. Traveling a lot so it’s still not in and I want to re do the pillars but this thing is starting to look nice, really need to get it off road though.

Thanks and I got it from headlinerexpress.com, appears it’s the closest match to the factory.

Seats skins finally came in! Color is really close but they couldn’t match the texture, which sucks but isn’t noticeable, minus against the headrests I haven’t recovered yet. I’ve done a few leather swaps and by far the most wrinkles but hopefully they’ll fade a bit.

I also did a 600 ‘star’ headliner because I’m trash, need to grab a pic.

Recovered the door pull back, feels so so much better.

Console was a mess and I couldn’t match the color so I bought a new cup holder cover and went cheap carbon stick on but I don’t hate it.

I was going to ask you how you've been feeling about that project, it looks good, Pat!
The center console CF is nice as heck, good call.

Thanks, car seems pretty solid but I still have a code for "Intake manifold tuning valve control circuit/open Bank 1;" I need to check it out but I've been busy.

on the Audi that is usually the flapper motor being reinstalled incorrectly...well, maybe just the variable intake valve vacuum driven motor having an issue.

I love the build man - seats have some wrinkles but I don't think it looks horrible.

More pics of the headliner.

Love the progress, can't wait to get started with mine.

Seats wrinkles are dissipating a bit and here’s my headliner 😂

600 ‘stars’ and they twinkle, sync with music, etc with a variety of colors.

I’ve taken it to two local spots, both kicked us out. Apparently, south Florida isn’t the spot for off roading, who knew. I knew they were cracking down when I had the jeep but this sucks, I need to talk to rockstar.
