...similar deal in sports; outside of a few like Steinbrenner and Huizenga, most do not know who is making the REAL money in sports.

artists don't make shit, unless they get song writing credits. That's why ppl are always fighting about who created that line, hook, chorus, melody, etc. etc.

I've never heard of this dude, but if that's his stuff then he must be like the Proctor and Gamble of hip hop.

Honestly I looked up the songs he's responsible for, the only ones I recognized were his work with Christina Aguilera and Fat Joe.

you bastard. low blow. We didn't make shit...maybe lost money after the Toronto gig... lol... But I knew you were going to say something after I wrote that! But seriously, I never knew why John wanted credit on some of the songs he didn't write after we changed things from just " written by endora" to specifically crediting individuals. I only realized later on that for him to "create" the melody with his vocals, that actually was "writing." That's why today I give major props to artists that do that. John was great at that.....

he is fuckin loaded, but he has talent to back it, lucky guy

most of these producers are people you would never think are in that position if you really take a look though. But they the ones reeling all the loot in...now if only i owned a studio...
he does get credit though, not too much of a sampler producer like kanye, but plays out his own beats.

dude does look like a dork. i remember seeing him on that mtv reality show with diddy and his band.

but he's talented with what he does so he earns his pay, at least.

synth19 is right...it's amazing how much pay these producers get. guys like dre, timbaland, neptunes get crazy amounts of money for making a beat.

There are a couple of things wrong with this statement, obviously.

Secondly, I'd like to know how does he know how they have been driven by just looking at them, from snapshots no less.

personally im BORED of this. every rapper, millionaire, actor, blah blah blah drives these same tired ass cars. im bored of bentleys on dubs and mercedes and shit. if i had that much money i would be buying rare cars, building dope muscle cars, track cars, fuck having a 300,000 car that you barely even drive. those things are just ornaments for his driveway

like i said....id be more impressed if he had a driveway filled with old school stangs and maros, and a few other rare gems in there. but the same ol ferraris and lambos that ive seen a hundred times on cribs.....

In addition to 100k+ per song, the money is not just in their fees, but royalties.

Yeah, there isn't much imagination to the stable......the Bugatti being the exception, other than that its the usual suspects.

Unlike very rich enthusiasts like Jay Leno, who has a very varied interesting collection.

How much IS he actually worth? He could possibly be frittering away what he's earning..he may not actually have a huge net worth. I'm not haitin', just being realistic. How many hip-hop folks do you hear talk about their investments, or retirement savings?
