Price negotiating on CPO car via email

I know many people negotiate price via email on new cars but is this also done on CPO cars? If anyone has tried this, how did you make out?

my sister did it on their new house. I know it's not a car. it actually worked better for her. she had 2 other real estate people drive by it and show them pics of the inside of it. they said i'd recommend paying between this dollar and this dollar. the seller/selling real estate agent was little high. they worked their way down got to an agreed price.

I did everything via email for my CPO TSX. It was listed on one site for $25999 and another for $24999, but I got the price down to $23500 very easily and over email. All I did was see the listing online, emailed the dealer and asked if they could do $23300, they came back with $23500 and I said ok. Easy as pie.
