power outlet question

The two power outlets in the TSX dont work-figured it was a blown fuse. Car goes in Monday for the warped rotors, so I told them to check that out. First words out of the guys mouth was, "do you have a verizon wireless charger?" I do, and he told me that they have had a huge issue in 2004+ Acuras blowing the power outlets using Verizon chargers only. Has anyone else had an issue with any car and Verizon chargers?

The TSX is a POS because a fuse blew?

It's probably the Verizon chargers fault. No other phone chargers make the fuses blow

No there's 4 or 5 little other retarded things wrong with it that piss me off on a regular basis that happened around the same time. Now here's a question for everyone-My radar detector also went at the same time. It now won't turn out at all, regardless of the car its in. Because the Verizon charger messed the 1 power outlet up, and they are all connected, is it possible that the other power outlet was responsible for killing my radar detector?

If the radar detector doesn't work in any power outlets, then check the fuse on the radar detector, usually it's in the plug. If it's a typical plug, unscrew it. If it is like the Valentine 1 plug, then the fuse just slides out. If there is no fuse anywhere on the radar or the plug then I guess you SOL.

Still sounds silly to me, TSX is considered one of the best cars for the money in the market and you call it a piece of shit because your outlet doesn't work

Here we go: major problem was when the transmission went, speakers in front rattled, dome lights in the rear, center dash console went 2x, brake line wiring was bad, trunk wiring was bad, driver's seat recall, power outlights, rotors x2 (ill take responsibility for that), navi screen replaced (when they went to replace center console, they put a nice 2 inch mark in it), and finally, radio code issues. You dont think thats excessive for a car with less than 50,000 miles on it? Its a great car, don't get me wrong, but the repeated little retarded problems frustrate me. Every single one of these issues except for the rotors had a recall or TSB out for it

My SRS light went on right after I started using a car charger in my car (2003 CLS). Tech at the dealership said its not the first time he's seen/heard this. Weird.
