Me too. I really like the CLK500 and how it drives, but the interior is subpar.

im not a big fan of the new CLKs. The rearend looks cheapened, maybe by the taillights. but for 63k for an amg coupe, id still hit it. this car looks way better with the windows down, as well as the amg package... it gives it more class and it stands out on the road more.

a new clk 350 doesnt stand out for nada

 

CLK is a wonderful car esp the CLK 55 AMG. Mine is a 430 and i use it as a daily driver, couldnt be happier. Xcellent torque and jus the right amount of space.

I wud def recommend it.

I ended up not buying the CLK two weekends ago for a few reasons. The car was a blast to drive but didn't feel that it was built well (even compared to my old C32). Another reason was that the dealer in Columbia seemed very, very shady about the terms of the deal. He wouldn't settle down to details and would constantly beat around the bush when asked about different options.

I really enjoyed the car (looks and power especially), but if I am going to spend that much money on a car I need to be 100% sure about it before I buy.

 

The CLK55 is a great car, but not worth $70,000+. The $$$ difference between the 500 and 55 makes the 500 more appealing, but there are other cars that I like more for the same amount.

I don't think you could go wrong with any of the CLK models, but it just wasn't for me.
