I am sure the Solstice with a V8 is old news, I was just showing off what the actual production car looked like.

how the fuck is there only a single exhaust tip on that thing? A dual would be mad hot...

I guess its better for sleeper status though

It may be a when it comes to the idea of stuffing a V8 into this little car, but...

DIZAAM!

Z06 who?

I reckon that this car could outperform a Z06 in all respects. For one, it gotta be lighter. Also many seem to praise the Kappa platform for being rocksolid and well-balanced.

Except for he minor problem of the motor being much heavier than the motor that was originally in the car so this must through the handling balance off some.

it's not much lighter, and I bet it's pretty unbalanced

true, with the LS7 in, balance might be off, although I was under the assumption that a LS7 wasn't too much heavier than an Ecotec.

Which platform wouldbe stiffer - Kappa or Corvette platform?

it's not, but the wheelbase is very short in that car, not sure how it'd handle the platform

Also remember, the Z06 platform is far beyond that of the base C6

From the info I read in the thread with the Z06 "sunroof" last week, the chassis and build quality for the Z06 is no different than the standard C6. It's all in the motor, suspension, and driveline. I'm not sure personally, but that's what I'd read from the Vette guys. Any clarification? I'd assume that the Z06 would be better when it comes to chassis reinforcement and rigidity, but I don't truly know.
