Pix of my new-to-me Turbo

Got it a couple days ago and took some pix for all you whiners It needs a good clay and a visit from the Porter Cable in the near future. That'll get the paint glowing like it should. Bought it sight-unseen on Ebay from a dealer in Arizona. I took it to the local Porsche dealership and the car checks out A-ok no probs. I'm very happy with the whole transaction thus far...except it only came with one key. New keys are $350. Welcome to Porsche, I guess!

BTW, the Caddy is back up for sale! PM me if interested.

that is sick! There are some places online that can make you new keys for 1/2 the cost of what the dealership charges. I believe someone on the RL forums posted the link since we also have the programmed keyless key.

Pure sex. It looks mean, crazy like a beast...

How do you like it's power and handling so far? Any impressions?

Nice pickup! Its only logical that you mod that Cayenne to run 11.4x.

Damn, I just ordered one from the dealer too. It isn't here yet so maybe I can cancel the order.

Power is pretty nice. I test drove an '08 Cayenne GTS and fell in love with the whole idea of Cayennes. The GTS handles as well as any car I've ever driven. Really, it's that good. My 2005 Turbo handles pretty well but nothing like the GTS. I took a corner (in the wet) at a pretty quick pace and it understeered quite a bit. Could be the tires. Definitely the best SUV I've ever driven but it's not going to win any races in the twisties against most cars. Straight line power is pretty decent. Takes a little getting used to the Turbos spooling up. Not used to having to wait at all in the Caddy. Could have something to do with the automatic vs manual trans too. I'm surely going to miss having a 3rd pedal!!!

The Caddy only has 20% tints. Must be the overcast weather. The Porsche doesn't even have front window tints yet. Gonna have to give CJams a call...

Congrats on the Turbo! I have to admit I was hoping you'd go this route instead of the GTS, although it's amazing in it's own right as you stated. Good luck with it!

I like all of the blackness in the driveway. Does anyone think you're a drug dealer or in the Mafia?

I guess if I ever thought of an SUV as a vehicle to own, that is the only one (OK, as long as 400 plus HP hits all 4 wheels).
