Pics of my NEW car (pssh, it's the enemy!)

I think both mods look fairly clean, but to each their own I guess. Most people are telling me to leave the car as-is, but who knows. And to everyone that offered financial advice, thank you. I guess I should've just bought a 4-banger Accord and saved the rest of the money even though I basically have my communion money saved up anyway and I really wanted this car. I will tell my financial advisor that you guys are worried about my spending.
Like you said, to each their own. I'm sure he thought it through and is happy with his purchase. Hey, at least he is honest about it all and not talking poop.
Congrats and enjoy your car.

Also I can't believe anyone would even consider a car that gets 11 miles per gallon, but to each his own.

Ed, I'm not going to touch your comment. I've seen your yellow Scion refrigerator many times before so I know how you feel about being different with colors. If I wanted to be like everyone else I would've bought black or white, but I happen to like the red, it's different. I'm driving it, thanks.
Rizz, thanks. You've always been one of the nicer guys on this board.
And Mike, you got any Asian girls we could hit up in Queens? I've always had a thing for them - we'll go cruisin this summer, you got my cell. haha

Nice car Matt - that is one SWEET ride! Love the color combo, and I bet that V8 is addictive. Did ya test drive anything else in its class (RL, 5er, E class, etc.) before jumping on the M?
Oh, and what job in hell do you do that allows you to get such a sweeet ride!? Need a business partner

And for the record, I work at a restaurant that is pretty much a gold mine, just in case you guys think I'm doing something illegal to earn what I have. I'm definitely not - I happen to be a respectful and diligent young kid. To let you know how successful it is, my two bosses drive a Ferrari F430 Spider/Mercedes Benz ML500, and a Maserati Gransport, respectively. I don't own my own business, I don't sell drugs, I just work very hard whenever I can and save my money to buy something nice like a new car.

It's not uncommon for successful NYC resraurants to pull in $150,000+ on weekend nights...

The V8 is addictive - it really pulls hard at around 3500 RPM. I happen to like the red too - it looks great in the sun. My sister has an E320, my mother has a CLS500, and my dad has an S430 4Matic, so they all love Benzes. I'm not a huge fan of them, even though I was flirting with the idea of a C55/used CLK55 for a while.

actually, there is a guy on this board who drives an S4 and works at a chinese restaraunt too. he used to have a black tl-s, before that he drove the supra. had both those cars for only a short period. most likely he'll get rid of the audi too when something else makes him drool.
back to topic, i saw matt's car at the meet.. definitly a sweet looking car. but too much for me. i think i would want to stick with my tl for as long as it goes. im really pushing to moving into a nice big house before anything else.
Nice ride, except the color is a bit old farty looking (imo anyway).
If I saw a young kid get out of it, dad's car would be the first thing that comes to mind. Yes, people do judge a book by its cover if they don't know you. Not because it's just an expensive car (heck, lot of young guys drive $ cars), just because that an M45 isn't exactly the first choice of most college age kids.
