Pics of my dads New JEEP SRT8, my CLS, and bros Lex IS250
My dad just got the 06 Jeep SRT8. I took it out the other night and wow. That thing moves. Only 6 came to the state of WA. Here are some pics of it, I'll get some more later of the interior. It has 20" rims which I love, Brembo brakes, Navi, DVD, 6.1L 420HP and 0-60 in 4.7 seconds. Also a few pics of my Acura 03 CL S and bros 06 Lexus IS250

Nice collection. The more I see and hear of that Jeep, the more I am drawn to it... and, it's a downright bargain compared to the other SUV's in its performance class.
I read that a cold-air intake + exhaust = 450hp... add a supercharger for 550+ hp and a Cayenne Turbo S-smearing grin on your face

All I know is I dont like Jeep Grand Cherokees....ESPECIALLY this new bodystyle.
And yet....after seeing the SRT8 at the autoshow...I fell hard for it...that thing is sexy.

^^^ exactly... I had a bitter taste about the new body style... so I just ignored it. But the SRT-8 has changed everything... who knew.. all the thing needed was some dubs and some crazy power

Yeah both the new Cayenne Turbo weigh 800lbs more then the JEEP, so the JEEP is still the fastest SUV in the world.....and ya the Cayenne, what a ripoff.....
Thanks, ya between me and my bro and my dad, we've always loved cars and taken very good care of them.....

The new jeeps are definately nicer than the last gen model. I like it, but still don't know if I would own it. The SRT-8 is hawtness, but I don't see why I would need something like that to use every day. I think there are other SUV's I'd choose over the jeep before getting one. If they had a ridiculously low price for one, that would be the only way I'd consider it.

I think the Magnum's role could be fulfilled by the Jeep for hauling, and the 300 for people carrying.

I think he put down the 300 for times where a little more class is needed.

Yes its nice, but it gets 15mpg in the city, its got a bigger engine Vs other SUVs in its class, but it only has a 20Gal gas tank, with other suvs having aleast 23gal tank.
Its going to be a regular visitor at a gas station, but the MSRP don't seem to bad no including the discounts

Interior pics on the jeep!!!

what happened to driver centric dashes? bmw has the same kind of flush mounted & ugly gigantic center console navi. if they would just tilt things on the center console toward the driver a bit it would look so much better. fuck the passenger.

i am very impressed with some of the newer cars from american companies (corvette, stolice, 300c, the new f150's interior is superior to every other truck) and the srt-8 jeep is on that list of nice new american cars

when you were in the passenger seat, yeah - you pretty much felt like a nobody.

that being said, I don't mind this Jeep's interior - indeed, it's among one of the better ones for a vehicle of its type. I think I wouldn't have any problem getting accustomed to it

closest driver centric car I have seen today is the pontiac solstice...love it.
old bimmers, like my old 5, were very driver oriented...but no more.
