Didn't the whole MT registration thing get busted recently?
I think it largely depends on the state you're driving the car in. It hasn't really been a secret for a very long time, many other states are starting to formalize means of getting around it and getting their tax money. I don't think MT cares.
No idea but I still see tons of cars in CA with Montana plates.
also WA plates.
I think CA is the one cracking down the most.
Doug and co discussed it on their podcast a few weeks ago. I think they're using plate readers to monitor out of state plates and how frequent they pop up. If your plate is seen for longer than the period they allow for out of state plates then it'll flag you and the state will investigate.
I see an ITR every once in a while around here. Always in passing on the road, not sure if it's real or a replica.
Still a rarity to see a clean DC2 or EK anymore
Wow very nice, that looks like a 1997 with the more sunken in headlights.
easiest way to tell if it’s an ITR is the side door molding. The ITR has none, while all other trims had a plastic bumper a bit above the crease in the metal.
I really like the ITR, very roomy inside and so fun to drive. I wish more Honda / Acuras had such a distinct tone change when the vtec hit.
edit: those wheels aren’t stock, are they from the civicR?

Well, the license plate says "97ITR30" so I'm guessing it is a '97.

not sure on the wheels. Maybe JDM version?
I think the US wheels were like a grey/gun metal color? I remember not too long ago there was a Phoenix yellow ITR at the gym I went to. Had those gun metal wheels.
Another tell tale if it’s a conversion is if there’s a sunroof. ITR didn’t have one.

you’re probably right about JDM wheels. My uncle has a 1998 ITR (still has it). I spent a lot of time driving it the last 2 years of highschool. When my Jeep was dead, that was my sled to school, and I got my license before my cousin so I was behind the wheel. Even after he got his license, he was not functional in the mornings, so often I drove in and he drove home.
Come to think of it, I’m surprised nobody suspected me of grenading my Jeep so I can drive the ITR.
Took a tour of Prancing Horse of Nashville with my son (photos curtesy of him). Seeing an F40 and F50 in person was the highlight. They have a LaFerrari and 280 GTO in the collection but unfortunately they weren't in the showroom that day.
The guy who invited me runs the Waxhaw Cars and Coffee in the area.
I completely lost track of which week of January we are in…
Some friends of mine have been going for many years, I’ve been wanting to go for so long, but this time of year is so busy… oh well. I’ll get there one day!
Not a 912 fan but this one was in really nice condition. The Lambo, Bentley, and Range Rover were at the county courthouse, probably attorney vehicles.
Just a 1/2 million dollar (CAD) Ferrari Purosangue in the Walmart parking lot, randomly parked.
And then , there's me with my Subaru parked far away to avoid door dings 😂
lol, yeah, I was almost compelled to see if they wanted to trade with my Odyssey.
i have another superb pic (Shadow, better watch out! I’m catching up to hour level quick), and while the Audi in the far right lane is further forward it really makes the Ferrari seem huge.
