ok so I should add some important detail, when I say burbs I should also mention it was a car show kind of day there and it is the burb where they do the event that had the McLaren F1 GTR's and F1's and other such cars.
I forgot to add; the last shot of the Aston in color but the b/w background looked pretty sweet!
about Aston, I never really had a thing for those honestly. The only one that impressed me was the lagonda. An acquaintance of my cousin had one and initially I didn’t even know what it was.
my wife liked Aston’s and when we were in college and a while after, her dream car was a lotus Exise. I don’t mind them, but there is a long list of cars I would rather have, but that’s just personal preference.
Of the 2, I'd have the Porsche, strictly from an investment perspective. I'd guess it'll command a higher price, compared to its MSRP, in the long-run.
Also likely more of a performer than the Aston.
Both are lookers, for sure.
If you never had a thing for Astons, then you should have that addressed ASAP.
hahaha, I wouldn’t say no to an Aston Rapide. Also, I saw a new vamtage at a car meet, looked good and interior was nice. I’m just not super into plush sporty cars. I love plush 4 doors though.
its nothing against Aston, I mean other than depreciation and not too sure on reliability. But for example, the Ferrari California or Roma doesn’t do it for me either. The exception that comes to mind is the Ferrari 550 or maybe the 599. But otherwise, I’d prefer a boxter/cayman, 911, Audi R8, Ferrari 430, 488, F8, lambo Hurrican, etc…

yeah, for sure gt cars hold value well, at-least now with all the YouTube clout. Who knows I’m 15 years. As far as performer, google says a 2020 Aston Martin Vantage v8 lapped the ring in 7:43. A 991.2 gt3 from the pic took 7:12, so yeah definitely more of a performer. With that said, the reality is the driver makes a world of difference, and I’m sure Max Verstappen could beat me even if he was peddling a tricycle around a track.

I got turned onto Aston Martin because of 007: Die Another Day. The Vantage became a fav of mine. It still is today. Looks good. Nice sounds.

There you go. Aston is more of a take on a road trip. Enjoy the smooth ride. The 911 has always been a on the road race car to me.
btw this is the Aston I was talking about, and being the tenuous that I am, I didn’t take pics of the interior, even though I had a good long look as I was chatting with the owner.
Yay, lagonda! The guy I mentioned that had one was a deep blue with white interior. It was amazing. And the interior reminded me of the bride of the enterprise for the old Star Trek series.
