The C5, pretty sure it's turbocharged, he gave a couple revs & some turbocharged whistle with it.
The Opel GT was on the drive home. Never seen one before, like a baby C3 Vette.
Need to find the Houston MG chapter, try to get the Midget in next year's parade.
Nice shots. That said, and nothing personal, but . . . I really don't like ("hate" is probably too strong a word) any sort of SUV, CUV, etc.
Of course, they clearly have their place and purpose in people's lives.
yeah, I don’t like them either. I don’t mind the engine having muscle, but the sport suspension, low profile and wide tires are not something I would want in a vehicle that type.
Also, carbon fiber bits always amuse me on 5500+ lbs vehicles.
im gonna add another thing to my dislikes, the very popular chalk color.
back in my days that was the primer or bondo repair color…
a friend of mine has g87 m2 in chalk and I can’t say it grew on me, but my dislike isn’t as severe. Personally, I would have gone with a different color.
Spotted while working at a (Yemeni) coffee shop today. Only the little boys and grown men seemed to take notice. The women couldn't care less.
From what I could gather, the owner of the car (Huracan EVO) was also that of a new chicken and gyro restaurant that was having it's grand opening next door (see balloons on left of 3rd shot).
Restaurant's name is "Blazin Chicken and Gyros," hence the license plate, I suppose. (But are they really only selling chicken and gyros??? I mean . . . that's gotta be a LOTTA chicken and gyros.)
Reminds me of Gus Frings and El Pollo Loco. Although Gus would never splash and flash like this.
Waseem Rana is the owner of that location. He was/maybe still is a senior account exec at Dynatrace (total comp is $220k-340k/yr) and previously Salesforce, plus time at Oracle and a few others. You need about $500k to become a franchisee. He's just playing the game right

Depending on the position at some of those prior jobs he might have had RSU or Stock Options. Perhaps he was one of the lucky ones on the stock market or crypto as well.
But even without those, I think it’s doable on that income if you save up and live below your means and you were lucky enough to buy a house before the market went nuts. On the low end of the range posted, of 220k, that’s roughly 180k in hand after federal income. I think the Hurrican is 300k, so with a few years of saving up, definitely doable.
