Yeah it's definitely an attention getter, but not sure I could live with it on a daily basis. But I am partial to it since my first car was yellow.

Lamborghini really opened the door to some strange STO configurations. Most look pretty good, but I've seen some wild ones.

Good friend of my wife got a chance to drive a 720S (belonged to a friend of his). No surprise, he's not a car guy said it was pretty awesome.

That's a 570S. Maybe if it was a 720S he would have been more impressed.

He said it was a 720S, but my McLaren spotting skills have apparently lapsed

hmmm it looks to be a 600LT, going by the aero effects, which is quite a special and limited model.

I'm not a McLaren expert but from the photo's and the rear wing it appears your both right that it's a 600LT and not a 570S.

570S
600 is based on the 570, IIRC, so you weren't far off.

<- Can't afford any McLaren (outside of die cast) so any of them would be more than enough for me.

Always liked how McLaren had to provide a matte coating to the spoiler to prevent heat damage, giving the spoiler a neat look.

Targa GTS? Didn't think the GT3 had any kind of open roof option, seems to defeat the purpose a bit?

Could've sworn it was a 3 especially with the spacing. I passed him pretty quick so didn't have time to fully confirm. Porsche drivers drive slow down here.

Can just see the board for the '66 GT350, but no pics of the car. Probably the classic Mustang I'd be after the most.

^ A friend of mine and his racing partner owned two GT350 racecars (1965 and 1966, but not one of the original ~22), but were real Shelby's that were converted. They campaigned them for about a decade, both are now sold. They also raced a 1970 Bud Moore Mustang TransAm car. Again a conversion not a original. I'll have to lookup some pics of them and post them.

1970 Bud Moore replica TransAm, friend of mine and his racing partner would race in Mid-Atlantic vintage races.

Glad I was born a long time ago otherwise I'd have to grow up listening to sewing machines aka EVs.

It might be "exotic" because I had no clue what it was and I have never seen one before. Take a guess...

Spot on! You know your cars far better than I do. I took that shot on the Gold Coast in Australia and until I saw the badge on the front hood, I had no idea what it was.

I'd only have known Figaro immediately, due to seeing one on the Houston Craigslist recently.
