It was the "Formula 1 Pirelli Hot Laps" ""support race"". So it was most likely rich boners who fancied themselves racers.
That ol' boy with the dark Aston Martin got a little loose out on track. Never enough to be exciting from the stands, but I bet he ruined some high dollar underwear.

The white Aston had some mighty squeel-y brakes. All 6 were pushed pretty hard.

Had a (rare) moment of clarity yesterday as I drove home from work. Saw this while sitting at a stop-light and thought, "I want an example of that car, if not that very car itself."

Saw a few other videos & looks like non-F1 drivers taking people for laps
Guess it depends on the celebrity, for which driver they get.
I'd rather the 2-seater banshee rip around the track

Friend let me drive his '99 XJR (49k miles), it was my first time driving a Jaguar and this is one of my top favorites from the years. My gosh what a smoooooooth ride. It had the butteriest (sic) steering wheel I've ever felt - such a cushy feeling and he happened to be thinking about selling it..... he said he wanted to keep it but the wifey wanted him to sell...... I couldn't help but be like sell to me so you can enjoy it whenever you need......... what a solid counterpart this would be to the other car, I thought.
absolutely loved driving it.

By looks alone (which I don't mind), but also with that stamped steel chassis, I'd imagine it drives like a bit of a pig on the road.

Those yellow GT2s commanded quite a markup for a while.
Too loud of a color for me, personally. Their blue is pretty bright too.
Shame the Ceramic white is only available on the GT trims. The 2.0Toys only get 4 colors (White, Silver, Black, Blue).
