The steering wheel is likely removed to avoid it being stolen. We had one of Schumi's cars here a month or so back. It had a plain steering wheel in the car with the original wheel in a case; value of the wheel is somewhere over $60,000 to manufacturer.

Everything should be there as Ferrari have only a limited number of chassis/engines per season.

I figured they wouldn't sell the engine/trans, most of the other retired F1 cars I've seen were chassis only.
