We had pretty amazing weather this weekend in Phoenix and the wife and I went for a nice 45 mile bike ride on Saturday. After seeing 5 Ferraris and a handful of Porsches, including a nice gt3, I was pretty happy with the scenery. We got to our halfway turnaround spot, a little gas station in the middle of nowhere, though, and my jaw dropped...
Two guys were eating candy bars in the parking lot, and said it was their friend's. They must not have been locals because they were asking me how to get to a highway where they could open it up some. I had to break it to them that they were 20 miles from any road with a limit over 45mph. They were like "guess we are stuck in second gear!"

Beautiful. Yeah, Designo Magno is the MB version of BMW's Individual Frozen paint. I've only seen it at an auto show, but I found the magno paint to be really course in texture. So strange.

Had our annual Devil's Highway Run this last weekend and this showed up:
1972 3.0CS. Original owner. 75,000 original miles. All original everything (never restored). It made the whole drive with no mechanical issues. It wasn't fast, but it did make it.

I wasn't saying it looks like a CLA. I was saying their intro sedan looks better than the next model up (almost entirely from behind). The taillights are god awful IMO.
