me too...it was actually a dream come true to see it in person...It was not in the best shape, I could see some swirls and stuff and really wanted to talk to the owner (a lady) to bring it over so I could buff it out LOL

Look at that old codger driving it.. shit.. it's probably his dream car.
Production numbers say ~175k. Quattro is the rarity.

I'll post an interior shot when I'm done with it. Pics don't do it justice.

Beautiful smooth rolling shot! Any tips on how to best get a tack sharp car while having a moving background? I always either get a sharp car + frozen background, or both are blurry. Does having image stabilization on the lens or body help much?

Yea, Image Stabilization will help a ton. This was with a 24-105L, very comfortably holding the camera out of the window with burst mode and autofocus on @ approx 65mph pretty much blind shooting.

ISO 200, F8, 1/40th.

There is a learning curve...but my best advice would be is to just slow down and really think about what you're doing. I hate doing rolling shots because it's chaos and I don't like holding up traffic or getting in the way BUT if you find a stretch of road like this with literally no cars in sight, you can really take your time getting good shots. In this 'burst' of prob 5-10 shots, only 2 or 3 were good. I pick the best and roll with it.

Had a fun commute this morning with a Ferrari FF. At first I thought it was an F12 when I saw it behind me, but when it passed it became clear it was an FF.

The color was amazing. It seemed black at first but then in the sunlight I saw it was actually green. Looking at the site, I think it was Grigio Scuro since it was so dark.

He drove it pretty spiritedly through traffic, especially after seeing me keep up with it.

Well, judging by his license plate, at least he has a sense of humor

Anyone recognize the little red Toyota? It's a Toyota 2000GT, pretty rare and worth approx. $1.2 million, the owner has ~13 of them, or so I was told today

My friend's '73 MINI is pretty sweet and a blast to drive even though it maxes out around 55mph.

I was at Ford on Saturday and they had a '15 Focus ST in Magnetic.

I like the new grille:

Fog light:

Nice paint flakes and I noticed Ford added a rubber shield in the hood gap:

DRL lights are smaller but look nice, and actual always-on DRL unlike mine:

There are quite a few differences. I love the new grille and headlights, but I'm not too keen on the rear end. Please excuse my dirty car.

Then I went around to the Mustangs.

+2. It looks like they squished the taillights and lost all the edges.

New ST looks a little 'pinched' in the rear, but overall I like it, especially in Magnetic. I'm sure it looks even better in Guard
