I am trying to help a friend overseas buy parts for his Toyota Avalon (1995). However, with my experience a few months ago with www.toyotapartsstore.com I am not comfortable ordering from them again as they sent less quantity than ordered and charged full amount and I am still fighting with them to get the money back; that is a separate issue, however.

My concern now is that virtually every store that I have tried to search online is an affilate of the same company. Apparently they have over 60 websites under different names (autopartsauthority, automotix, autopartswarehouse, partstrain, etc) Does anyone know an alternate website for purchasing parts for avalon or specifically, a different shop in New York city where one can go and check prices online or in person.
