So I had to pull this bitch out of the garage a couple weeks back
So I could fit this big box in front of it for the time being...
Lots more shit coming in a few short months

It definitely makes it hard to get rid of a car owning it that long and putting that much heart and soul into it

Won a giveaway for some LED bulbs and ended up with a set of way brighter reverse lights which basically give me what I was looking for with the tail as turn setup before I sold it. These suckers are SO much brighter than the more expensive profiles that I bought and replaced with these free LED bulbs lol. Definitely a huge fan of Lasfit products the more and more I use and install on my truck.
Here's a little before and after of the bulbs, you can definitely see the difference in the daytime.
But night time is when you really can see how these suckers work!
Very impressive light output for a set of reverse lights. These are just the reverse lights with no other lighting on the driveway or license plate bulbs, etc.
These bulbs are so bright that I'm going to have to turn down the contrast on my backup camera because I had notched it up due to lack of light output before, you can see the glare now with these bulbs lighting up the camera space
Great little update, and they were free!

So, I've had nothing but trouble with the budget remote starter that I bought. It has been a complete nightmare quite honestly. The remote start itself works great, however it is nothing but an electrical gremlin otherwise. I have maintained from day one that the issue is with the main control module, however they have sent me repeated pieces other than the module and nothing has fixed my problem. I've now ripped out my dash 4 times to deal with this issue, and even broke my trunk release lever due to constantly removing the lower dash trim panel. First they sent me a replacement main wire harness which funny enough had the "revision 1.0" label on it...
Second they sent me a brand new manufactured chip module (separate unit from the main module) This chip didn't even work out of the package. Nice cheap circuit board with shrink wrap on it, I didn't even want to install this jinky piece but figured if it solves my issue I would be happy...
After waiting 2 weeks for this piece, I called back again and they said that the wiring on the chip itself was wrong, wonderful... So I had them send me the correctly pinned harness, so I had to rip out the other module and rewire and solder new connectors to replace this wire harness. I had hoped that this would resolve the issue, but it did not.
The main problem is that this module links into the brake pedal for the shutoff, there is a relay in there and whenever I'm driving and the brake pedal is depressed, it triggers my door locks and UNLOCKS my doorlocks which lock when the vehicle is put into gear. Nice right? It also flashes my LED high beams repeatedly as well as all my interior dimmer lights, so I've been driving around with my headlights on everywhere as to not flash oncoming traffic with my LED high beams.... It also pulses and triggers the door locks over and over, basically burning out the door lock motors which are known to go bad in the first place *sigh*. The other issue is that it is supposed to work with the stock key fob by hitting the lock button 3 times, however with this pos, if you hit the lock or unlock button even once it would start the truck, so I had to start using the door lock switch on the truck getting out because if I locked the vehicle even once it would start the vehicle when I didn't want it to, it would also randomly trigger and start itself which it should not do. Needless to say, I'm done at this point and asking for a full refund.

Sorry you are having so much issues with your remote start. That sounds really annoying.
I think at this point you need to move to the buy once cry once and pay a little more for the non-budget version.

It was supposed to be a plug and play system for my vehicle utilizing the stock key fob, I didn't want a third party key fob or extra fob on my keychain

Yeah I am referring to the V. They are terrible. The reverse lights are litterally two single LEDs. Whoever though that was a good idea needs to be shot. For this reason I have put in 24LED each licence plate lights which at least light up the area directly behind the car a bit more using the camera but don't really help with looking out your side mirrors when the camera is covered in water on a rainy day.
I haven't looked at mine in R to see what there is, but with how dark my windows are & the 'could-be-better' backup camera, it could use with a bit more light.
Good thing about the camera, is it pops down when put into R & 'hides' the rest of the time, so it's always clean

New remote starter has been ordered, it's supposed to be 100% plug and play unlike the gremlin one that has to tap into factory wires. Return for refund has been filed for the crappy one. Can't wait to get these things swapped out
I also got the very last piece that I need for my next big mod project
