Do you have the opposite problem I have?

I can't install in the summer because 10000 degrees.

What did you get?

It's a 10 deg windchill and snowing outside, I'm not going to buy some expensive item and expose it to 4 months of elements and salt for no reason, same reason I'm using my stock wheels and tires right now, it sucks out there

So you don't have a lot of confidence in the quality of the parts you buy?
Hmmmm...

So you mean your going to install these parts in the spring and then remove them next fall again so they never see salt?

Whats the difference in the salt this winter and the salt next winter?

Just say your balls get cold installing parts outside and you would rather wait till the warm spring weather

Living in a snowy and salt covered area, I too would leave it for the spring.

Yeah, the parts will eventually get rusty, but if you can keep it looking good for the first year, why wouldn’t you? After all, as much as I hate to say it... mods more often than not aren’t exactly necessary. He doesn’t NEED those parts on right now.

^This guy gets it... No sense in ruining brand new expensive parts. Next winter, I may do some winterizing but I will not be removing everything that is on the truck just like I didn't remove everything this year, just swapped the wheels off to protect my good wheels and it's already paying off since there's salt and potholes everywhere right now

It has nothing to do with the cold honestly, I worked on my truck in the cold this past winter if I had shit I wanted to install, and will be installing my remote start module this weekend since it will be useful now. It's more about protecting things from salt and the elements

It has to be either a roof rack backet or a front metal bumper bar. I don't think he is going to go crazy and get fully metal front or rear bumpers for this truck.

if it was on the roof he wouldn't be worried about the salt, methinks...
it's probably an underbody armor tray to protect the oil pan and stuff for when he goes to Krogers.

Well some of the racks have raised sides so not completely a basket but similar to one.
