Got a new job with a 15 minute commute, I'm saving so much money on gas it's ridiculous. I filled up last Saturday and made it an entire week with a few longer trips and still have over a quarter tank. Gotta love it

Isn't it awesome having a short commute? It is a raise seperate from any raise you got for the job.

Ouch, my co-worker does 42 miles 1-way, 4 days a week.
Mine is about 15-20 miles 1 way, depending on route.

I meant my commute is about 45 miles round trip each day. Could be worse though.
I think here in Texas we are more spread out than the big cities in the Northeast. So even though we might drive 3x the distance, it probably takes the same amount of time because it isn't ultra clogged with cars and stoplights like in a big city.

I used to drive 33 miles one way, then it became 21 miles one way when I got relocated, then I moved and it became 11 miles each way, and then after the last move it is 1.5 miles each way. After the relocation to a different part of the company I also switch from 5x8 to 4x10 schedule. I could not imagine driving that far to work anymore. 45-75 minute commute for my first job. Never again. Now I just lose all that savings with less fuel efficient cars

Man it took a while to get to those two wheel choices but now I can't even help you decide that. I think they both look great. Honestly I think it comes down to tire choice. The first will look good with both offroad or a more street tire. The second I think will only look good with an offroad tire.

Option 2 gets my vote. Unless you're going pavement princess, then option 1.

My vote against black is everyone does black wheels. I feel like it is so overdone lately. Plus I feel like bronze on his dark blue looks really good.

Yeah, not feeling black or GM for this truck. My buddy said bright silver, but he also said chrome. Not really feeling that, my stock rims are silver

FJ Cruiser takeoffs. They're grey w/ a silver machined lip vs. the pre-MMC 4Runner Trail Silver/silver.
It's classy.

Actually leaning toward these since they don't have logos in the metal and I can cover the log in the center caps with something else

Looks good. Plus those photos should allow for some good wheel photoshoping.

I've always wanted the TRD Pro wheels for my Tacoma since I don't like smaller wheels with a lip. Quite a few people on Tacoma and 4Runner forums buy the reps from FN Wheels and love them. Plus they're an inch wider than the OEM set, and offered in black, gunmetal, and bronze. Have you considered these?

Yep, everyone and their mother has TRD wheels, especially on the 4Runner forums. These were originally my first choice, but I've since gotten away from that idea

Just making sure I like the Method wheels you've picked, but I wouldn't do gold/bronze. I guess I'm boring
