The black looks great with the car (and you can see them from a distance), and the lettering looks good once you get up close.

Any thoughts of vinyling/painting the door handles?

Are the decals heat-resistant? If so, you might be surprised how long they last. I had "Acura" logo decals on my front calipers of my TL and they showed no signs of decay after more than a year of being on there. So far, the "M" decals I put on my current car's front calipers are holding up very well also.

The decals are supposed to be heat resistant, but I also sprayed a heat resistant clear over it.

I meant more about paint durability...chipping/scratching/etc

They should be good then.

Yeah, that's an issue. I touched up my calipers on the TL after about a year, but it wasn't major.

Looks good, very subtle and much better then all purple.

Time for some wet sanding tho, appears to be some bad peel in those pics (the car's paint not the calipers).

Like all cars today...yeah the paint has the orange peel effect. I've heard some people wet sanded theirs and look amazing...my fear is one of the weakest aspects of this car is the paint. Its thin...so I don't really want to risk it.
