Great that means the motor can run for just over 21k miles more before it needs rebuilt or replaced.

god thats beautiful, dont care much for rotaries, but that RX7 looks good its hard to find one that hasnt been molested. I wouldnt go with an ls1 either , you can fit 2jzgtte in there and keep it all from japan.

I wanted one when I was younger.

Then I worked as a mechanic for a few years to make some money for college.

I now stay the fuck away from those engines.

Fantastic cars, PAINFULLY beautiful, but a little....shall we say......finicky.

This would be a good buy....as long as you replace all the hoses pictured in blue here, as well as the blue hoses you can't see.

How about a Mazdaspeed6 engine swap? Would probably be closer in weight than a LS1 and the driving experience would likely be closer with a turbo.

You'd have to switch from TMIC to FMIC but I wonder if it would work.

why would you put a weak motor in there like the mazda 6. I,ve seen 1000hp supra engines in them (2jzgtte)! I dought that the mazda 6 engine weighs less then supra's.

I would either go with a 2jzgtte or a twin turbo 402ci LS1 in the RX7.
